CHAPTER 03

"To all students! Please proceed to the field for the final instructions! Again, please proceed to the field for the final instructions!"

Field? Again? Tss bakit di ba nila natapos yung pag-bibigay ng instruction kahapon? Oh well papano nga naman nila matatapos ang assembly kung ginulo ko na sa unang apat na minuto.

Tsk nakaka-irita kasi, kung makapag salita siya kala niya ang dami niyang napatay na demonyo. He didn't even last long in the forest because someone f*****g offered herself to save him from misery. It's just a waste. Ni hindi man niya lang bigyan ng karangalan o pag-alala ang babaeng iyon.

Tumalon ako mula sa ikatlong palapag ng building kung asan ako at ligtas ko naman nai-apak ang mga paa ko sa lupa. Pinagpagan ko ang sarili ko kasabay ng pag lagay ko ng mga strand ng buhok ko sa likod ng aking tenga. The wind started to blow and it made my hair move to it's rhythm

The breeze is so calm, so nostalgic.. but I know that this calmness won't last. Not too kong from now, this school will be wrecked badly because of the war between our kind and the demons.

I was about to take a step forward when I felt a presence behind me so instead of walking, I just turned to look at whoever the person behind me is. I gave a questioning look at the man who I just saw.

He is not familiar, but, I can smell the elite blood running through his veins. Masyadong malakas ang amoy. I bet he came from a strong clan.

"You haven't changed" - it was supposed to be a whisper but I heard it. I have this keen hearing because of the place where I came from. All of my senses are enhanced badly inside the forest.

I raise an eyebrow at him and I saw how his lips twitched into a smile. What's wrong with this guy?

"Amarè" - he whispered again and after that he disappeared from my sight. Amarè?— what? Arghh cut it out Astrid! Don't let it get through your system! Wala lang yung sinabi niya—yes! Definitely that stupid elite just want to play with you.

I must focus on my goals. I have to, because if not their sacrifices will be wasted. I close my eyes and in just a split second I am already in the same place where I was yesterday—

"Good Day Heroes!" - Mr. Stanley's voice echoed around the place and that made me roll my eyes heavenwards. God! This man is annoying as hell that I want to cut his head off his body!

"Today you will now choose your weapons! Your weapons will define your class standing. However you eill not totally choose your weapons but they will choose you. Touch it and when they react they are yours when they didn't they are not. The reaction will depend on the element you weild" - oh yeah I forgot that having an element is not enough in that forest. The energy we have is not infinite because there is no such thing as infinity. Damn. Forever nga wala infinity pa kaya and it's the 25th century already, only a few will believe in such thing.

"Let's start! The Primos first!" - Stanley exclaimed which made me scoff. Tsk bias. Dam I really loathe that man. Nakita ko ang pag abante ng mga elites at kitang kita ko kung papano sila naghanap ng sandata na tatangap sakanila.

The girl with blue hair which I believe is the conyo one last night made her way towards a bow and arrow. She grab it and the bow and arrow glowed and from it's bronze color, it turned into white. It's great that she got her weapon on a first try basis but.. having a bow and arrow inside that forest is not that handy. You will only be useful in long ranged combats especially with the demon eagles and dragon riders well she is wind element weilder so it's already compatible.

"Yey! I got my favorite weapon na!" - she exclaimed which made me raise an eyebrow. Damn childish.

I turn to look at the woman who has a brown hair and I saw how she touched the sword and the ground suddenly move— earth element weilder. Oh well a sword is quite nice because of her physical appearance.

Sumunod naman ang isang lalaking kulay itim ang buhok. He firstly touched the hammer but unfortunately it rejected him. Tsk bad for him so next he moved towards a trident, but before he could even touch the trident. It instantly vaporized and moved towards his body. Well the weapon found it's rightful owner. A trident is the most appropriate weapon for a water element weilder like him.

The next one who will choose a weapon is a man with red hair. His facial expression is stoic and I can feel his intimidating presence. He screams authority and power and it is obvious that he is the fire element weilder. And so I saw him touched two katanas. The katanas immediately burned with blue flames.

What I saw made me grin. Another weilder of blue flames. Hmm quite interesting, however he hasn't mastered it yet. Swerte nalang siya kung kaya niyang magamit ang full potential ng kakayahan niya sa loob ng isang linggo.

I move my gaze towards the next guy— the same man a while ago. I licked my lips as I scan his physique.

One might see that he has jet black hair, but when the sun illuminates it, it's actually blue. He has this black orbs, pointed nose and cherry colored lips. His body built is also proportional, hindi gaanong kapayat at hindi din gaano kalaki ang muscles. It is well toned.

He took a step towards the same weapon as the fire element weilder— a katana. Hinawakan niya ito and I saw how it broke— nasira ang katana, that's unfortunate. Pero biglang napasighap ang mga tao, samantalang ako naman ay napangisi dahil biglang lumabas ang yelo sa handle ng sandata and it formed into the blade that was just broken and I bet that newly made blade is quite sharp.

"Tapos na ba ang mga elites? Okay let's pr—

Stanley was cut off by a woman and she whispered something to him which made his eyes widened. I licked my lips again.

I am now fascinated on how fast Stanley can change his mood.

"So before we could proceed with the other students there is another person who is to choose her weapon" - he said as he tried to regain his posture. "Astrid Xenia — whoever you are— please choose your weapon now so that we can move on already" - he continued which made me jump off the tree where I was sitting. Me? Kasabay pipili ng mga elites? Tsk bakit kailangan pa nila akong isama dito, I can just f*****g choose with the commoners because I am no elite, I am an ordinary person who came from a deadly place.

"Ikaw?!" - the elites— well except for two — exclaimed. The one with a red colored hair and the man who pestered me awhile ago faces' remained void of any emotion. Even the crown gasp seeing me present in such event.

I walked towards the center stage and I started roaming my eyes. Weapons may vary, depending on the materials used to forge it, the weight and of course the compatibility of it with the weilder's body and the environment.

There are lances, bows and arrows, swords, crossbows, katanas, and axes. But I know there is one weapon hidden in this place, a weapon that can devour a person's flesh if they are not compatible with each other. And I badly want to f*****g try what will happen to me when I grab that weapon.

"Where is the forbidden weapon? Why didn't you displayed it here?" - I asked and I saw how Stanley's jaw dropped. Well, I know that he didn't expect that I will know about that forbidden weapon, weilded by only a few privileged people. At mukhang ngayon lang din nila hindi isnali sa pagpipilian ang sandatang iyon. Why? Marami bang namatay noong nakaraang taon?

"Hindi siya pwedeng i-display Astrid. That weapon is dangerous! It already killed a thousand weilders!" - he exclaimed and that made me raise an eyebrow at him. Did he really think that I will be scared if he told me that fact? No! Of course not!

Bakit naman ako matatakot aber? Eh mas marami pa ngang napatay ang mga demonyong nakikita ko sa kagubatan. I have seen the worst in the forest

"I want to try that weapon" - dirketa kong saad at kitang kita ko ang panlalaki ng mata niya kasabay ng pagsighap ng ilang nga taong nakaka-alam kung anong hinihingi ko sa head master ng eskwelahan na ito.

"NO and that's final!" - Stanley exclaimed and that made me chew the insides of my mouth.

Gago talaga... I-tr-try ko lang naman tsk as if I would die by just touching it right? If I am correct those who died by touching it are weak and plastic people. They just want to try because it is believed that a person can be alot more powerful than before but all of the weapons here will choose you because of your strength and power.

Kung ayaw niyang ilabas, then I have no choice but to search for that damn weapon alone.

Pinikit ko ang mata ko at pinakiramdaman ko ang paligid. Tinalasan ko din ang pang-amoy at pandinig ko — I can even hear the sounds created by the trees.

"What the hell are you doing?!" - an unfamiliar voice exclaimed and based from his tone, he is one of the elites from last night. He is the red haired guy.

Hindi ko na siya sinagot. Mawawala ako sa focus kung papansinin ko siya. Damn— aabutin pa ako ng ilang minuto bago ko mahanap ang sandatang yun. Magaling magtago si Stanley and I commend him for that. Pero dapat sinigurado niyang hindi yun mahahanap gamit ang class-S or dark magic. He could've made a barrier to deflect magic.

"Gotcha" - sabi ko ng makaramdam ako ng kakaiba sa pinakadulo ng isang building sa di kalayuan. It is a sealed one, pero hindi rin malabong mabuksan iyon.

"f**k! Mercedes protect the weapon at all cost!!!" - I heard Stanley exclaimed and suddenly I felt a magic circle beneath me.

Damn! Eto nanaman ba? Gagamitin nanaman niya ang ice magic niya saakin? Tsk. At wow! Yung weapon talaga ang pro-protectahan nila— akala ko ba marami ng napatay ang weapon na yun! Edi dapat ako ang protektahan nila.

*sigh* stupid people

"I know, they are so stupid right?" - what the?!

"Tsk who are you? How dare you distrub my slumber in this cursed place?"

Tsk bakit ako lang ang tinatanong ng boses na to? Like duh? Dapat nga siya muna magpakilala— bigla bigla nalang siyang lumitaw sa utak ko

"You wicked imbecile! I am the great weapon of the clan of Dragineel! How dare you not know me!" - ohh siya pala yun. So it's true that the weapons can contact the weilder through telepathy hmm

And that means I am your next master the great weapon of the clan of Dragineel

"WHO ARE Y—

I cut him off by letting out a ounce of my power, so that he could feel it. Mas madaling iparamdam sakanya kung sino ako kaysa ipaliwanag.

"Damn! Finally! Now get me young lady and let's kill some demons!" - he said which made me smirk.

Binuksan ko ang mga mata ko at nakita ko nalang na pinalilibutan na ako ng yelo. Stanley just made a barrier. Mukhang made-delayed nanaman ang pagpili ng mga estudyante ng sandata nila ah!

Mas okay nga yan! Made-delayed din naman ang paglabas nila. It's a good thing because they can train more.

"I don't care if you are considered to be part of the elites! I consider you as a great threat Astrid Xenia!" - I heard Stanley said and that made me scoff.

Aba't ang gago niya talaga! Ako? Threat? Threat dahil ba mas malakas ako sakanya? O threat dahil nangaling at nakaligtas ako sa kagubatan ng ganoon katagal? Oh well! Let's see if he can still blabber shits

"Come Slyfer" - malamig kong saad at pagtingin ko sa kanang kamay ko ay namumuo doon ang isang itim na bagay. The pieces of the weapon are little by little forming in my right hand and in just a few more seconds ay nabuo nadin ito— in a form of a scythe. A very deadly scythe indeed.

I took a step backward and a took a deep breath. I positioned my right hand and as I exhaled, my hand moved to release a blow— slashing the barrier made of ice into pieces and destroying the magic circle beneath me

Bumungad saakin ang gulat na mukha ni Stanley ganoon din ng ibang mga tao, lalong lalo na ng elites.
