Reed secured the helmet on my head before he wore his. He took my hands and placed them over his waist. “Hold on tight,” he said. I closed my eyes the moment the motorbike roared into life. This was my first time riding a motorcycle so I made sure that I was holding tightly. When the motorbike reached the highway, I ended up shutting my eyes completely. We were practically flying. Was he allowed to drive this fast? I tried to open my eyes to look at the speedometer. We were running at a speed of 12km/hr on the highway. I shut my eyes closed again and tried to focus on something else. I didn’t want to get late for our exam but I didn’t imagine riding this fast.
