My Escape

I didn't realize that I fell asleep while reading my book. But somehow I was thankful for the temporary escape. It was dreamless, maybe because I just spent an hour or two sleeping. It was still cold outside, it was still raining and the sky was starting to become darker. I woke up to the smell of meat being cooked by the fire. I didn't notice that Damian was back.
