I woke up as soon as I feel the heat of the sun hitting my cheeks. To my surprise, I already had a pillow on my head, a blanket covered my body and kept me warm the whole night. It was not raining anymore. In fact, I could hear birds chirping outside. I was about to wonder where Damian was when I realized that someone was breathing slowly near me. Damian slept on the floor beside my sofa. He used my camping bed as his bed for the night, neatly placed over the carpet that covered this area.  I tried to control my breathing. I did not want to wake him up. He looked so vulnerable like this, sleeping, almost helpless.
