2.Beginning

Three months passed after Jo’s family moved to a new house, almost every day Jonathan indulged in his hobby of exploring the forest accompanied by his trail motorbike, until he forgot about his duties as students. That morning Arthur—Jo’s father, was getting ready to go to the office. However, he saw Jo wearing shoes while carrying a backpack on her back as if he was going to the forest.

“There’s a lecture today, Jo?”

“Yes, Dad!” said Jo loudly.

“Keep going? Where are you going? Trail adventure?” Arthur asked a little curtly.

“Yes.”

“What is this? Joe?” Arthur shouted.

“Why? I’m still young... I’ve been restrained by Grandma for a long time! I want to be free! I’ve grown up!” Jo’s gaze was a little fierce.

“Jo! Dad works to pay for you to go to college! We already have a comfortable place to live, instead of improving ourselves! In fact, it’s getting worse! What do you want to be?” Arthur was very angry that morning.

“Father! I’m sick of always being compared to Neil when we were still living at Grandma’s house! Grandma never forbade Neil from doing any activities! I’ve given up a lot! Now I’m looking for myself! Arthur’s quarrel with Jo that morning made Jo run away to explore the forest and leave his house.

“I’m just afraid that Jo goes into the woods and he won’t come back to us.”

Arthur looked at his meek wife. Ana’s sad eyes and calming smile made Arman melt.

Okay, I’ll go first, darling!” The kiss that landed on Ana’s forehead and lips made both of them feel calmer and more comfortable before Arthur left for the office.

Jonathan, 19 year old young man. The eldest son of Arthur and Ana. Everyone thinks Jo is Arthur and Ana's son, even though Arthur found Jo when he was in the forest. The poor baby who was alone and cold was taken home and raised by the couple Arthur and Ana.

Currently Jo is a first semester student at a well-known university. He is 186 centimeters tall, has light skin for a man’s skin color. His hair is spiked black. His broad body makes him look very dashing, plus Hazel’s eyes are sharp like a wolf about to pounce on its prey.

Arthur works as a property marketing manager at one of the company’s branch offices. A fairly large salary allows him to meet his family’s needs. Seeing Arthur’s good performance, the head of the branch office where he worked, called him and several other staff to his room to be given a bonus.

Mr. Arthur and several selected staff received bonuses in the form of houses and cars because of their good performance. Of course this is good news for Arthur’s family.

Two days later after signing the performance bonus, the Arthur family moved into their new house. During this time, Arthur and his family still lived at his parents’ house. It wasn’t just Arthur’s family who lived in his parents’ house, but his younger sister’s family also lived there. This is also the reason Jo acts indifferent, because all this time her grandmother often compared Jo with her cousin who was the same age. Apart from that, Jo felt restrained by her grandmother. So Jo grew up to be a young man who was reckless and had his own way

They have occupied a new house in an elite housing complex, with four bedrooms divided into two floors. Ana and Arthur feel very relieved because they can have their own residence as a result of their hard work. They also hope that Jo will become a better person as he adapts to his new living environment.

Arthur’s family’s move coincides with the announcement of Jo’s passing of the college entrance exam. Arthur and Ana felt very proud and happy. Their families continued to receive untold fortune. Arthur reminded Jo to improve his attitude, because now Jo was officially a science student at a well-known university.

It’s not easy to change someone’s attitude. Arthur and Ana patiently advised and paid more attention to Jo, so that he would change his bad attitude. Jo said that as long as he was young, he would continue to look for adventure experiences out there. Ana and Arthur try to understand what Jo wants. Jo’s father granted his wish to have a dirt bike. Jo felt that this time he really enjoyed his youth. His hobby of climbing mountains makes him want to experience trail adventure all the time. When Jo opened the door to his house, he found his mother and sister crying hugging each other in one corner of the room. Jo could only gasp as if struck by thunder clap, after Ana told him that Arthur had been taken by the police to be questioned on charges of money laundering corruption.

Jo immediately collapsed at his mother’s feet. The day he quarreled with his father was a sign of the disaster that would befall his family. The tears of Ana and her youngest child made Jo realize that currently he was the one his mother and sister were relying on, because Arthur was curled up in iron bars during the examination.

“Mom... I’m sorry!” said Jo while hugging his mother and sister, Vanesha.

“Then... now can I meet Dad?” Jo felt very sorry for his attitude all this time.

“Just try it, son! Meet your father... I can’t bear to see your father there!” Ana cried uncontrollably.

Jo’s heart broke even more when he saw the condition of his mother and sister.

Jo has arrived at the prison where his father is being held. He asked the guard for permission to meet his father.
