Xander's POV "Goodbye, Xander." I watched in shock as Maggie slid out of the booth and walked away. She didn't look back. I wanted her to. I shouldn't want her to look back at me, but I did. I stared at her back as she walked further and further away from me. Each step she took sent a painful jab into my heart. I deserve this pain though. I hurt her. The one thing I swore to never do. I was weak and now I am paying for it. Maggie deserves a better man than me. She is too perfect for a wretch like me. I do love Stephanie. Those feelings are still there. Though I'll admit, I still don't fully trust her. However, I knew after seeing Maggie's face that day at my office, that I deserve the pain that comes with a flawed woman like Steph. I don't deserve Maggie, and I don't think I ever will,
