LUKE POV
Lexi hung up on me and I just stared at the phone for a minute. I couldn’t believe she had done that. Caleb was driving like a mad man to get us back to the warehouse so we could help with the next steps. I called Kevin but Heidi answered.
“Heidi, it’s Luke. Please put Kevin on the phone.”
She sounded frantic. “I’m sorry, Alpha. Kevin is out on patrol right now.”
I felt panicked. “Have you seen him in the last hour or so? I know Diedre has been captured.”
She burst into tears. “Diedre was grabbed while on Patrol. Kevin and the other Warriors are looking for her. The wolf that was with her was wounded badly but Dr. Mack is trying to save him.”
