LEXI POV
I climbed into the passenger seat of the SUV and left the backseat for Matt and Diedre. Matt was cuddling Diedre, his wolf close to the surface, and I could tell he was trying to use his mate bond to help her overcome the drugs. I glanced over at Luke who had an odd half smile on his face.
“What are you thinking?” I asked.
He glanced at me. “I’m looking forward to this being over and done with. I’m thinking how excited my Pack is to have a Luna and how I can’t wait to introduce you to all of them.”
I smiled gently back at him. “You know, I still don’t think I’m Luna material. What if I want to join the Talos Warriors.”
He shrugged. “We’re not really a traditional pack. I don’t see an issue with our Luna having other responsibilities, especially if they’re something so noble.
