LEXI POV I looked at my half-eaten tray of food and carefully wrapped up one of the sandwiches and the brownie in a napkin and put it into my bag along with a bottle of water. I put the rest of the tray by the door and then sat in thought. I knew the warriors outside the door would not open it for me and if I waited until my next tray of food, they would look for me if they didn’t see me. I was going to have to go over the balcony. I moved the bag to the inside of the balcony door. I opened the door wide and then stepped out, wrapped in a blanket. The warrior stood at attention, waiting to see what I was going to do.
