“I had all your stuff from your dorm room brought over”, he casually told me.
“You did what?!”, I stare at him in shock.
“Sweetheart, you have got to stop letting the shock get to your head and make me repeat myself again and again”, he pinched my nose and smirked at me, as if this was a playful, ‘normal’ conversation. It so was not.
I rub at my nose, it had probably turned red by now.
“How did you even…..”, I start to ask but then think better of it. “You know what, forget I ever asked,” I grumble.
“There’s my girl. No asking questions and worrying your pretty little head.”
“Whatever, I’m still going to take out that GPS from the phone”, I tell him, fully intent on following through with my statement.
“You can try”, he drily states, moving to turn on the gas and place a pan on it
