“Is everything ok?”, Ayesha asked me when I finally came back inside.
“You seemed really angry when you left”, her tone suggested an unasked question, eliciting a slight smile from me.
“I was just… never mind. Eat your food”, I told her, curious to see if she would flat-out ask me or continue playing coy.
She chewed on her lip, unaware of my lewd gaze resting on her as the fork of food stayed on my plate…. eating being the last thing on my mind…. unless she would be my meal.
