A week later
Things had been going pretty great for the past week which is why I should’ve been on alert for things to take a nasty turn. They always did when they went too well for me.
“So you’re going to the game on Friday, right?”, Rose asked me, suddenly appearing out of thin air and taking her seat next to me as we waited for the class to start.
“What game?” I asked, instantly deciding to not go anyway.
“But it’s the end of the football season. And it's also the annual rivalry game of the year… which is like, the most important game. We’re going against the Yale Bulldogs. You have to come”, Rosalind protested, giving me a pleading look.
