So after that incident I never really spoke to Rena, I put all my focus on my studies . On the day of my graduation , I found outwhen overhearing my parents found out before me but didn't tell me . I just wanted to take my degree and leave , after the ceremony I went home . And I started packing to leave for my internship I just couldn't stand to be there anymore. My mum said " ki you dont need to go so far for an internship you know you can just stay " yeah I tried to reason with my mom and though she doesnt want me to leave I was like "mom I won't grow if stay here " I tried to reason , she still didn't want me to leave but she let me go . New york initially was a what anyone would expect a big city which helped fulfill the expectations , but I didn't want much from it or ask alot from as i had already heard stories about the city , the robbery , the slang words that they would use , I was so scared when a homeless guy just screamed at me and said" b***h f**k off " I didn't know what to do . And there . was also their way of seeing life so practical , and always on the go I knew it was not gonna be easy , when I went to go look for the apartment it looked nothing like it did in the ad , it was so small that rats couldn't get in and the sink was tiny the cabinets were ok , I was given a spare bed by the landlord . In the bathroom water would be available just 1 hour It was a pure hell but I couldn't mention this to my parents or my sister or else they would still think I could do much on my own On the next day I brushed my teeth , took a quick bath , had breakfast , got dressed and went for my interview It was quite anxious , followed by hint of excitement. I got to the university it was so beautiful oh my goodness I felt as though I was infront of ancient artifact , it was humongous , all the people looked like ants infront of it . Just as I was admiring the infrastructure , I heard a voice from behind saying "Its beautiful isn't it " . When I turned around I saw a middle aged woman , wearing formal white shirt and black formal pants with black heel s . She said " Are you gonna keep standing there or are you planning skipping class " . She thought that I was one of students I laughed and said " Ma 'am , im not a student I actually came for an internship to which She said " How dare you lie like that , I cannot stand liars and I would give you " before she could finish her sentence I showed her my letter for the internship, and my resume her face changed and she said " It is an impressive resume , but you should b on time we dont want the students to miss lessons now do we ". I didn't know what to do I just said "Ma'am ,of course I wouldnt want the students to miss the class could you Please lead me to the class ". To which she said " You're for sociology so its gonna be in the left wing , to the right ". " Thankyou" I was still quite confuse but didnt wanna ask anymore she looked annoyed when I was about tp ask the 2 time , the building is huge to go alone and search and i felt like I got lost halfway , When I saw light On the doorway and on the right of it was a door written sociology On it I had finally found it When I opened the door the students were so noisy and didnt noticed that I had entered the class , I actually gave me time to compose myself from all the running , and sweating . I sat down and drank water and waved my book on my face , for some coolness After that I had finally become compose and I started scrambling my bag for my laptop and my notebook . When I began introducing myself still no attention from them up until I said " So do you know about the new Broadway musical adaptation of death becomes her" there attention shifted to me and one of them said "Yep Meryl streep was in it , the musical is not gonna compare". Someone else said " I dont like musicals". But les miserables an exception could you blame me So in said " see what You're discussing the Broadway , it is an aspect which helps people come together and relate with one another that's sociology for you" They were all so interested after that and looked so eager to know of the social happenings , before the bell rang I told them to introduce themselves . Someone said Jason ,Mike ,Arya etc I called myself miss Reins when I was introducing myself my phone rang I even though I had kept my phone at silent , I saw a name flash it was Kelsey i thought to myself why would she call so I gave them break for 5 minutes and I called her and said Kels what happened I was taking a class " She said that " Ki how are You im sorry I just wanted to check up on you , and im also in the middle of my client well hes taking a call , " " Yeah im fine , I mean im trying to be time, is it working almost " " you have so much of strength I wouldn't have taken the Rena s ability to marry your boyfriend , oh my Ki im sorry .
