Out of Hiding

Welcome To Oregon

As hours went on we did actually stopped at the motel that was only two hours away. Right now everyone is sleeping except me, I am not in my motel room because I went out for a run and will probably feed off an animal I cross path with, I just hope I will get back before they notice that I am gone.

I have been running for about an hour and I haven't seen any animals, it's almost like their afraid of something. 

'We should start to head back, the forest is too quiet and there's something out here, I can feel it.' Grace said as I stopped at a clearing on the hill. 

'Do you know where it is or what it is.' I asked her as I stayed alerted. 

'No it feels like it's everywhere, we have to get out of here.' she said as I looked around the clearing. 

Then I saw him, the same guy I saw across the cafe earlier in the day, right in front of me just staring at me with his white eyes.

"You know it's dangerous for you to be out here all by yourself." He spoke with a hoarse voice.

"I am not by myself." I answer back. He chuckles and answers back 

"Yes, you are alone Rose, your motels an hour away from the south and you have been running west." How did he know where I am staying.

"Who are you, because it's clearly that you know my name and you have been following me for a very long time." I asked him.  

He smirks and says "Θα δούμε ο ένας τον άλλον πολύ σύντομα, αγάπη μου" and then vanishes as the wind blew. 

I wonder by what he meant that 'we will see each other again.' 

'Grace do you know what 'αγάπη μου' means, cause I can't seem to remember.' I asked her.

'Unfortunately I don't, greek isn't spoken on this territories or on any other territories.' she said back. 

'What do you mean greek isn't spoken on any territories' I said to her as I started running towards the motel.

'There's a myth that over 6,000 years ago their used to be a royal family that was in charge over all packs in the world, peace over all the packs in the world until one day the royal family just disappeared without a trace, that's why there's the council that's in charge and the Crystal Moon Pack is the strongest pack.' she said to me. 

'What do you mean by the strongest pack?' I said to her as I was in a hunting position ready to feed on a deer. 

'Crystal Moon is considered the strongest pack because it's the closest pack to be next to where the kingdom used to be according to the myth of the royal family, because according to the myth the royal family were the very first wolves to have ever existed and that the crystal moon pack was formed right after the royal family had disappeared making the crystal moon like some types of descendants over the royal family.' she said to me as I finished feeding.

'Really descendants? From the royal family.' I asked her.

'Yes that's what the myth says.' Grace said as I reached the motel and snuck into my room just to lay on the bed.

I wonder what happened to the royal family. I thought to myself as I tried to sleep like a human and werewolf does since vampires don't sleep at all.

The next day or should I say morning my brother checked out of the rooms and decided to find a dinner to get something to eat. Thankfully there was one about 10 minutes from the motel, I never told my brothers or Helen that I went feeding or that I saw the guy. 

Once we got to Linda's Dinner Helen went straight for the booth in the corner, when we all sat down the waitress came and gave us the menus. 

"Good Morning, my name is Rachel I will be your waitress for today, do you need more time or are you ready to order." Rachel said to us. 

"Good Morning, yes we are ready to order, I will be getting the chicken and waffles with a large glass or orange juice." I said as I handed the menu back to her. 

"I will be getting the club sandwich with fries and a black coffee." Sam said handing Rachel the menu. 

"My wife and I will be getting the chicken burger with fries and a black coffee and mango smoothie." Richard said to Rachel as he handed her both their menus back. 

"How long until we reach the pack?" I asked my brother Richard.

"We should be their in about 6 to 5 more hours." He replied.

"I have two black coffees, a mango smoothie and a large cup of orange juice, I will be back with your meals in a bit." Rachel said. 

"I'll be back." I said as I started to walk to the restroom. 

Once I entered the restrooms I locked the door and stood in front of the mirror as my eyes started to glow through the contact lens that hides my real eye color. Then out of nowhere my surroundings change and I am in a different room with people looking at me, until a woman dressed in a renaissance era type of dress walks through me and sits down at one of the ends of a very long table. 

"We have to do something she isn't safe here, her powers keep growing and the enemy keeps getting closer to finding out what she really is." The woman speaks to the six men that are in the room with her.

"We can only do so much it's her scent that attracts the enemy closer to the border." one of the men spoke. 

"As her power keeps growing her scent get stronger the border patrol reported it last night after she mastered on controlling the electricity." another man said. 

"Maybe it's time and you know it." spoke a different man.

"No, we have to do something I am not sending her away, maybe he can protect her, he has to I can't lose her too." the woman said as she started to cry. 

And then everything started to vanish back into the restroom with me looking around to make sure I wasn't just dreaming.

'What just happened?' I ask Grace while unlocking the door and going back to the booth just in time as the waitress left.

'We had a vision of the past.' Grace said as I sat down. 

"Good your back we were just discussing what will happen once we get to the pack, the alpha will come and meet us on Friday once we have settled in, when we get there this afternoon depending on the traffic then when we get their two warriors will give us access to pass into the pack and will lead us to our new house." Richard said as we ate our food. 

"Sounds like a plan." I said. 

After we were done eating I left the dinner while Richard payed the food and left a 50 dollar tip for Rachel. Since I was the first one to leave the dinner and stood next to the car and waited until Richard, Sam and Helen came out, that's when I felt something or rather someone stare at me. I was looking towards the trees and saw a pair of white eyes looking at me, but suddenly disappeared as as the door to the dinner open and out came my brothers and helen. 

"We got some pie for the road." Helen said very excitedly. 

As we got to the road Sam was scrolling through his phone while Helen looked like she would fall asleep and I was just lost into my own world thinking about the guy I saw in the clearing. Some time during the trip I actually ended falling asleep due to a spell I used on myself, when I woke up I saw the 'Welcome To Oregon' sign. 

Looks like my new life is about to beginning.
