Moving

One day I was in my own world thinking about my life how it would’ve been if I was a normal werewolf or vampire even a normal witch, would I be outside and living my life without hiding all the time someone comes over to see my family? Or would I have a boyfriend and getting married? Would I even have children with who ever I would’ve married? Would he accept me the way I am ‘a monster’? All those questions can into my mind, I didn’t even realize that I was crying as tiers left my eyes.

It was now around 3:30 in the afternoon I was looking out on the small window I had in the attic, before my dad died he told me that I could see outside but no one would see me, which I had to admit it was cool and I was thankful he did that for me.

The next day it was around 5:00 in the morning that I heard a knock on my door to my surprise it was Samuel or Sam for short. 

“We have a surprise for you come down stairs into the living room when your do getting ready” Sam said to me. And just like that he left. 

“That was strange” Grace my wolf told me. 

“That indeed was strange, I wonder what the surprise is” I told Grace.

“Well hurry and get ready so we could know what the surprise is” Grace said to me sounding very excited.

I listened to Grace and got ready, today I decided to wear black high waisted skinny jeans and a white V neck shirt with my black and white vans, I also included the necklace my mother gave to me when I turned sixteen and a ring my dad gave me for my sixteen birthday, for my hair I decided to curl it but not to curly and not to wavy if you know what I mean, and last I did my makeup I only wore mascara and my lip gloss the rest I left it natural. If your thinking why do I do my today hair and makeup or even get dressed if I just stay in the attic all the time, well to answer your question is that I want to feel like I am going somewhere and not staying inside all the time and I feel great about myself when I get dressed. 

When I was done fixing myself I left my room and went straight to the living room just in time to be greeted by Helen, Richard, and Samuel. We were all quiet until Richard broke the silence between us and told me that we were GOING TO MOVE of course I was very shocked I have never been outside science I was five and that was a long time ago like about 432 years ago. From what I know is that the society has changed a lot, people talk differently, girls use clothes that exposes a little too much skin, and teenagers are making some not very good choices in their life’s but how am I to judge right? Then a voice brought me back into reality that voice belonged to Helen. 

“Rose are you okay” Helen said to me. 

“Yeah i'm fine it’s just a bit of a shocker that’s all.” I said to her but also in the process of the information that was said to me just a couple minutes ago. 

I have never left this house scene I was basically born I mean I was five when my family had to hide my existence from the world. How will the neighbors react when they see me coming out of the house, because thanks to my brother everyone in the neighborhood knows him, Helen, and my other brother so my neighbors they have never seen me before. But all I can think of is going outside ready to run and lay on the grass feel the sunlight touching my skin, I can’t wait to leave and get a chance to talk to more people and to finally have friends and probably fall in love which my brothers will never approve of this is what I get for being the only female and the youngest. 

“When are we moving, where are we going to go, is it safe for me to leave the house, what are the neighbors going to say when they see me, how exactly am I going to get into the car without anyone seeing me and where exactly are we moving to?” I kept saying to myself even knowing that Helen and my brothers are their. 

“We are leaving today” Samuel said and that’s when I noticed that the whole house was empty there were only two boxes left which I am guessing is the food because I can smell it even from miles away. 

“All we need to do is pack your things and move them into to moving truck and we’re ready to leave, your also going to have to teleport into the car so the neighbors won’t see you, go and start packing.” This time it was Richard talking to me as we all left into different directions, Helen went into the kitchen to finish packing the last for the supplies, Richard went to go and fix the moving truck, Samuel is taking boxes out of his room and then there’s me packing clothes, shoes, bags, and many other things.

“So we’re going to have to teleport into the car today, did they tell you what time we are going to leave and don’t say 'I don't know' I want to know exactly what time we are going to leave.” Grace my wolf said to me. I swear sometimes she is so demanding I can’t stand her. 

I was about to answer her until I heard a familiar voice that’s when I ran to my window and saw my neighbor he was around 5 ft 7 inches I think, he had semi short hair but it was a little longer around his ears, he was a little darker than I was, his eyes were dark brown, hair color was also dark brown. Let’s just say that he was a boy who I had a crush on but it was only a little crush not a huge crush that I would go crazy for. I believe his name is Devon or Damian or is it Daniel, oh well I can’t even remember his name all I know is that it starts with a D. What I did remember is that he has a girlfriend and both of them are very good friends with both of my brothers and Helen they didn’t know that I excited but I remember Helen telling them that Richard and Samuel had a sister that lived across the state but was too busy to visit. And that sister is me. 

“We are leaving in two hours so get ready, Richard and Sam will come and take your things to the moving truck.” Helen said to me but scared me and almost gave me a heart attack. 

“You scared the living soul out of me.” I said raising my hand to my chest while it’s rising up and down very fast. Yes, I am very dramatic but I don’t care that’s the way I am. 

“You should really start to pay more attention to your surroundings and stops staring at Darius he has a girlfriend you know that right.” Helen said to me but to be honest I thought she had left already. Well I guess I do have to pay more attention to my surroundings like she said. 

“So his name is actually Darius, I thought is was Devon, Daniel or was it Damian.” I said to her but this time I paid attention to my surroundings to know that both of my brothers were their, I can tell that they must be a little annoyed at me because I always used to stare at Darius when he pass by our house. According to them he will never be worthy of me and also because he has a girlfriend, such sadness from me because I never got to say a single word to him. 

“Are your things packed so we can take them to the truck because we leave in an hour” said Richard 

“I thought it was two hours how did that change in such a short period of time” I said to them. 

“I decided to leave an hour early because I have some business to attend to in the city before we start our journey to our new house” Richard told me. 

“What state are we moving to, is it far from Louisiana” I told them. 

“We are moving into the territory of the Crystal Moon Pack in Oregon we are all going to be meeting the alpha and he has accepted us their, I told him that you are a human and it should stay that way until we can fully trust them to tell them your secret” Samuel told me since Richard went downstairs to put the last of my things into the moving truck and for our journey to being.

Our “old home” used to be about thirty to forty minutes away from the city where my brother’s work and to be honest it’s bigger than I expected bright, colorful, so lively and it looks so beautiful. The building we were heading for was the one that my brothers owned, yes they have their own company. The name of the company is called Anderson’s Co, I think they help other companies grow and they do lots of different things that I do not understand at all, we are very wealthy because of that company. 

“Do you want to go explore the city with Helen or are you going to stay inside the car until we come back” Richard told me while getting out of the car just like Samuel and Helen were doing. 

“How long are you going to take?” I answered back 

“We are going to be gone for about two and half hours because of a meeting” Samuel answered my question 

“We are not going to stay locked inside this car for two and half hours” Grace my wolf told me 

“Helen what part of the city do you want to go and look at first” I told Helen while opening the car door and seeing her smile at me

After what seemed like hours which was really only about ten minutes that Helen and I left the car and my brothers to go shopping for clothes that are appropriate to meet the alpha of the Crystal Moon Pack. At first I didn’t want to try on a dress because I never worn one before I did own dresses but just never felt like I had to wear one since I never go out. 

“Are you done in their, I want to see how you look” Helen said from the other side of the changing room 

“How do I look and please do not lie be honest with me” I said to her, because I remember one day she told me that I looked good in a very bright yellow dress and I believe her, when I showed my brothers they told me I looked like a stripper from that day I never let Helen chose my clothes for me.

“You look gorgeous that dress definitely looks good on you” she said 

As I looked at myself in the mirror I start to think how will my brothers react in seeing me in a short dark red dress that has straps and the good thing is that it is not puffy and I really like this dress. 

"Okay, so we are getting this dress and we still have about another hour and forty minutes to keep looking for accessories and other things for our welcoming ceremony." Helen said while bring me out of my thoughts.

Oh great more shopping to do.
