SNEAK PEEK

Gabrielle's POV

I fluttered my eyes open and my eyes roamed around.

Then, I looked beside me.

I saw Alexander sleeping as my head was leaning in his shoulder.

We ended up falling asleep so close to each other.

I looked at the clock on the wall.

12:01am

Oh my.

It's already so late.

I carefully lifted my head up to not wake Alexander up.

I got out of the couch and started fixing the area.

We watched a few movies and ended up dozing off.

I was worried that Alexander's parents were looking for him since he hasn't come home yet.

Once I was done, tidying up, I was going to wake Alexander up.

Just as I was about to wake him up, my phone suddenly started vibrating.

I picked it up and saw that it was yet another mission.

I gulped and then glanced at Alexander.

If I wake him up now, he'll ask where I'll be going.

I can't get him involved again.

I sighed and went to my room.

I grabbed my jacket, keys and other things I knew I'd need.

Then, I sent a text to Bella although it was already really late

To: Bella

Hi, Bella. I'm sorry for messaging you so late at night but I just wanted you and your parents to know that Alexander is at my place and he's safe and sound. I couldn't wake him up but I just wanted to let you know just in case.

I sent the text and was about to head out.

I really need to leave.
