SNEAK PEEK

Gabrielle's POV

Alexander and I sat inside his car quietly.

I glanced at him and he was just staring straight ahead.

"Alexander" I said

Alexander looked at me.

"I--" I was about to say something but he cut me off.

"Are you hungry? Should we go grab dinner? We both haven't eaten anything yet since we got off school.

I bit my lower lip.

" Alex..." I said.

" We probably should get dinner" he simply said and he started to start the engine.

I sighed but didn't talk anymore as we drove off.

He doesn't want to talk about it but it's something we should really talk about.

Alexander helped me in my mission today and I really want this one to be the last one that he gets involved in.

Every single one of my missions are dangerous and I don't always have control over everything.

I don't want to risk his life trying to get involved in something he really shouldn't be a part of.

If something bad ever happened to him as he's trying to help me, that'll all be on me.

And it's fine for me to take responsibility.

But I'm not risking anyone's life except my own.
