SNEAK PEEK

Gabrielle's POV

I woke up to the beeping sound of my alarm clock and I opened my eyes.

I looked at the time and date on the clock and pushed myself up.

I sat on my bed and smiled as I realized what day it is today.

I got out of bed and walked to my window.

I opened my curtains with a smile on my face.

"Good morning, world" I said enthusiastically.

Then, I walked to the bathroom and I showered.

I loved the feelin of water dripping down my body without feeling in pain with the slightest movement that I make.

I wasn't able to shower properly in the hospital before because I kept aching all over.

Now, I'm feeling a lot better.

Of course, I'm still pretty sensitive in some parts of my body but definitely not like before.

I finished my shower and dried myself off gently then put on a robe.

I washed my face, brushed my teeth and did my other routines.

Once I was all done with that, I picked out my clothes for the day.

I still had a lot of bruises all over my body so I needed to cover up more.

I sighed.

How unfortunate.
