A Gangster princess

As they walked into the beautiful mansion , An old lady could be seen with a little girl of about three years old trailing behind her. As they walked in the old lady caught sight of a fleeting shadow , without pondering too much on it she could guess who it was. And just as she thought, the old lady said in her mind “ Brielle " said the old lady with a hint of hesitation. Brielle turned to look at her mother but said nothing and then turned to head back to her room “ it's been over four years now and you are still not moving on?" said the old lady “Scoffs, you say it like it is easy, come to think of it have you ever lost a child before" said Brielle Williams with a look of unconcealed sadness and depression. “I have two daughters, one is as good as dead while the other is slowly loosing it. shouldn't that count too?". Brielle Williams seemed not to hear and just stood there wallowing in her grief. When it looked like the two had come to a stalemate, a childlike scream echoed the whole mansion. Then the child who was trailing behind the old lady finally came into notice. Knowing that she had interrupted their conversation quickly tried to apologize. “ Am sorry" , “the dog was trying to eat me" she added hurriedly in a childlike manner. The dog she was talking about was Rufus a military trained dog kept in the house , and it so happened that it was taking a walk when the little girl saw and it looked at her. The little girl childishly took it that the dog was trying to eat her and screamed in fright. Then Brielle asked her mother “ mom , who is this". The old lady replied“ this is Seraphina and she is going to be staying with us". “Mom, I have told you that no one is going to replace my daughter and that's final" Brielle said looking at the child and with that she stormed off to her room.
