_ The Visit _
There's a stretch of weird silence before CJ bursts into a laugh. A loud laugh. The room grows quiet when the laugh fades.
He narrows his eyes on Phoebe.
"You're f*****g kidding me, right?"
She rolls her eyes.
"It doesn't have to be real. Just for the cameras and the papers and that's it!"
He laughs again.
"So, you want me to have a fake girlfriend to impress the cameras?"
"Yes. Someone you'll be seen around with. Go on public dates with. Walk around the streets with. Hold hands in public. You know, normal stuff that couples do. Just for the cameras! I can create a contract so that there's a mutual agreement between both parties."
CJ stares at her, disappointment on his face.
