Zara is screaming in the elevator.
It's funny how she's one freaking out more than I am. I mean, I'm the one that just got fired, not her. And she's not taking any of it.
She glares at the two interns standing beside us when she catches them whispering and giggling.
"Can y'all just mind your f*****g business and block your f*****g ears and stop staring at me like I'm some monkey!"
I chuckle when she says that and the interns look away.
So apparently, Madeline fired me because she found out that I lied. I lied about the letter. I told her that CJ seemed happy to receive it and even tucked the envelope in his briefcase.
Madeline was impressed by the good news and even tried to hide the smile. But she couldn't. She was blushing so hard. It was pathetic...
