Chapter Four - Better than you

1572 Words
Callen    I was in the living room, playing the Xbox, Jessica in her room. I am sure she is there for the sole purpose of staying away from me. I had let her be, for the time being. But she shouldn’t get too used to it. It was only for right now because I know Leo would be due home. And just with that thought, I hear him coming in the front door.    “Hey, dude, where is my sister? Have you lost her already or did she jump on the first flight back when she found out you would be her roommate too?” Leo asked, laughing.    “No, she is in her room, but she probably wants to kill you for not telling her I was staying here too,” I laughed, “Why didn’t you tell her? I swear she looked like she wanted to punch when I told her,” I added.    “Because I thought it would be funny,” He chuckled.    “Thanks, dude, like she doesn’t hate me enough,” I said.    “I think hate is a strong word,” Leo said, “I have never understood why you to clash the way you do, what is that all about?” He added.    “When I work it out, I will let you know,” I said.    “JESSICA, GET YOUR ASS THROUGH HERE!” Leo called out.    I forgot those two would instead shout than go and see each other if they were in different rooms.    “NO! I AM NOT TALKING TO YOU!” She called back, laughing.    “NOW, JESSICA LOUISE FYLNN!” He called back.    I couldn’t help but laugh; she hates when he uses her full name like that. Jessica soon came through.    “I hate when you use my full name,” She huffed.    “I know, that is why I did it,” He smirked, “And why are you not talking to me? What did I do?” He added, trying to play innocent.    Jessica never responded with words; instead, she turned to me and nodded her head. Leo soon knew what she means. I shrugged, heading into the kitchen to make coffee.    “I am sure you will get over it,” Leo laughed, hugging her.    She happily hugged him back. The two of them have always been close, and they haven’t seen each other for six months so they will be happy to see each other. I made three coffees as they caught up. I don’t need to ask them if they want one because, with those two, the answer will always be yes for coffee. I took them over, setting them on the table with them, and sitting on the chair.    “So what have you been doing today?” Leo asked, “I hope that Callen has been looking after you,” He added.    “I went for lunch, Callen joined me without being invited,” Jessica said.    “Hey, he is only doing what I asked of him, looking after you,” Leo said, “Give the guy a break,” He added.    I am sure if he knew the ways I have looked after his little sister in the past, he wouldn’t be so glad about me looking after her today. I think he sometimes forgets she isn’t a kid anymore. He has always been over-protective of her, and I think he always will be, no matter what age she is.  “I do not need to be looked after,” Jessica said, shaking her head.    “Yes, you do, you are in a new city that you don’t know,” Leo said.    Jessica rolled her eyes, grabbing her coffee and taking a sip. Jessica is used to Leo and his protective ways.    “Tonight, we are all going out for dinner, my treat,” Leo said, “We leave in two hours, so you two should start getting ready right now because you are both as bad as each,” He added.    “Are you trying to say I am worse than a woman?” I said, glaring at him.    “Yip!” He said, “Dress up a little, both of you, I have booked us a table at the new Thai restaurant, the sort of fancy one,” He added.    It was one of his friends that was a part-owner, which I guess worked out well because trying to get a table at the place right now was impossible.    “Yay, I love dressing up, and food,” Jessica laughed, “I need to find something to wear,” She added, getting up and heading back to her bedroom.    I was hoping she would choose a dress. She always looked good in dresses. They showed off her gorgeous curves, legs and ass. Then again, maybe Jessica in a dress wouldn’t be such a good idea when Leo was around. I don’t want him catching me, looking at her in ways I shouldn’t be.    “You want to go for some drinks after dinner, maybe a couple of games of pool too?” I suggested.    “Yeah, sounds good, buddy,” Leo smiled, “Now move your ass and start getting ready if the two of you are running late, I am going without you,” He added, laughing.    “God, I know where Jess gets her bossiness from,” I said, rolling my eyes, “I don’t know which one of you is worse,” I added, chuckling.    Leo shrugged. It was true, and they were as bad as each other. I don’t mind Jess getting bossy with me, in a completely different situation, one we shall not go into at the moment.   Yes, I took a while to get ready, but not two hours, Leo was exaggerating. I pulled my ass off the sofa, chuckling. I flipped him off and headed to my room. I bypassed Jessica’s room, the door slightly ajar, and all I could see her was standing in her underwear, clothes scattered all over her bed. She was trying to decide what to wear. I smirked because most of what she was looking at were dresses. I pulled away, heading to my room before she saw me watching her or Leo caught me perving on her. I want to stay alive for a little while longer, thank you, very much.    I never needed to shower since I got one this morning. All I need was to find clothes and get myself ready. I was ready for a night out. I may look for someone because I need to get laid, and well Jessica is acting like she isn’t interested so I can’t even go to her. I have plenty of time to work on that. Until then, I will get my needs somewhere else. The girls in London seemed to love the Scottish accent, even though half the time they can’t understand what I am saying, but it works out in the end because there isn’t much talking.    I lay down on my bed, pulling my phone out and messing around with it. And then I got an idea. I was going to text Jessica. Leo gave me her number in case I needed it, but I don’t think she has mine, but I am sure it won’t take long for her to work out it is me. I decided to keep the first text simple. I opened a text, writing it up.  Hey, gorgeous  X    I waited for a moment, and she was soon texting back. I opened the text and chuckled to myself.    Jess: f**k off, Callen. How did you even get my number?    She worked out quickly who it was.    Callen: Your brother gave it to me, in case I needed to call you if I couldn’t find you at the airport. How did you know it was me? X    Jess: I will kick his ass for that later. Because you are the only annoying man in my life right now, that is why.   Callen: Come on now, when are you going to stop pretending that you haven’t missed me these last four years? I was the one keeping excitement in your boring life X    Jess: I did not miss you, even for a second. Oh, trust me, I have had plenty of excitement with you not around, and some more exciting and better than you.    Now I know she was bullshitting. The things I did to her, she loved every second of it. I don’t believe another man has made her feel as good as I did.    Callen: Bullshit! I bet no man has made you scream or c*m in the way I did.    Jess: Actually, there has been a few, some making me scream louder than what you did.    Callen: I still don’t believe you, but OK then. What are you wearing?    Jess: You should know, you were perving on me when you walked by my room.    And there was me thinking she never knew I was there.    Callen: Well, you should close the door properly when you are standing half-naked. I see it, and I am going to look.    Jess: Piss off, Callen! I am not texting back after this, so leave me alone.    Callen: For now, I will. See you soon, sexy X    Jessica never texts back after. That was alright, though. I would see her soon, anyway. I am going to have a whole lot of fun messing with her.
