Who was Hera knight? She found herself pondering at the exact hour she was supposed to be asleep.
On days like this, where the sky was ablaze with the fire of the setting sun and the pale crescent moon shone like a slivery claw in the night sky. Her lids just found it impossible to close.
She lay on her bed glancing at the blankets of stars in the sky, some as bright as the sun and others with less intensity. It wasn't fair, but that was simply life.
Not everyone was destined to be a sun and she wondered where her own destiny was leading her.
She needed to sleep. She knew that her bodyguard would come knocking on her door as early as 6:00 in the morning but the night was way too beautiful to waste it all on sleeping.
Whereas, how many times did she have an alone, calm, and settled time? It was just once in a blue moon.
Her mind wandered back to an incident that has been playing lowkey at the back of her mind.
It happened yesterday when she brought her boyfriend, Leo Carson home to meet her very own uncle who was also the mayor of Cloud-Storm City.
The one and only Ruthless Lucas Knight, the man who sheltered her, had ordered Leo out upon sighting him.
"I forbid you to know him. My spirit does not sit well with him", he had uttered, screaming at top of his lungs.
She burst out in tears just right after he had scared her little man away. He said that every time she got herself into any sort of relationship.
He always claimed to be protecting her and she only wondered what he was protecting her from.
To her, she felt that what she needed protection from was him. He had neck-chocked her life since she was little and she somehow taught he would change, but as time swept by, he only became more protective of her.
As though, something big was coming and maybe it was, but what mattered most to her was living a happy life.
She sighed, gradually allowing nature to take its cause. Her lids closed and she could feel herself zoning out to a world of complete darkness.

Heavy gray clouds obscuring the sky, trees bending and whipping in the wind, rain pouring down, drops bouncing off the pavement, water downhill and pooling in a low spot drops racing down the closed windows of the infamous knight tea shop.
Flashes of lightning and claps of thunder could be heard and seen through the windows of this old wooden shop and it was obvious that the later part of the night was only going to get colder.
8:00 pm, the exact hour all the breeds emptied themselves in this wooden shop for the best warm tea in the city. It was close to Midnight but here in Cloud-Storm city, it didn't make a difference as this was just the beginning of the day.
Except for the humans, who would probably have withdrawn to the comfort zone of their homes leaving the night to those who owned it.
The success story of Herbert Knight filled the Newspapers in the shop. He had won the elections again and would be ruling all four realms for the fifth time.
He enjoyed the love and support of everyone and Dust, the creator of the supernatural, the architect and god of the 3 realms(vamps, wolves, and witches), the only tribrid in existence wondered what in the world his creatures fancied in a mere human.
He placed the paper on the wooden table as he took a brief of his surroundings.
It has been a very long time that he has been here, amid his hand-made creatures. For over 400 thousand years, he has been in his underground layer. Enjoying peace and comfort until he received a vision from his dust chain.
All three realms were going to be destroyed in less than two days. Vamps, wolves, and witches would seize to exist because an irreversible action was about to be committed.
A vampire and witch were going to mate at Noon producing their own damnation.
As god of the three worlds, he took the pain to journey down here, leaving the ground layer he had been for over 400 thousand years, just so he could save his people.
And here he was, sited on a random chair staring at his beloved creatures and it saddened him.
They didn't even recognize their own master
The left-hand side of the shop occupied the witches and the right-hand side, exactly where he was sited occupied the vampires while the werewolves sat in the middle of the shop.
Over the past years, he had heard a lot about his creatures, like how strong the hatred between the witches, werewolves, and vampires was, and now, he could see it.
The tea shop was operated in furking divisions, probably to keep his creatures from reaping one another apart or others and this greatly displeased him.
Things weren't like this before, a lot has really changed, he supposed.
A very familiar set of feet creaked against the floors, heading towards his direction and he didn't need a peak to know who it was. After all, he created them all.
" How dare you sit in the vamp-lord seat!", Silas Clemente, a one-thousand- year-old roared his voice at Dust and he frowned arching his eyebrows at his audacity.
"Move while you still can!", Silas threatened cracking his neck at both sides and eyes watched the scene as though it was a play.
"You use the powers I bestowed upon you to belittle people. Silas, Silas... You will die tomorrow", Dust guaranteed, never once giving him his attention.
" you dare-", Silas began but the vamp- lord, Luther Vodrak cut him.
"As you can see. Only Silas and I are here. The rest of the vamps are at the academy. I've come to have a simple tea if you know what's good for you. You will take your leave immediately. I'm not a merciful man", Luther's deep husk voice muttered and for the first time, dust turned to face them.
He rose to his feet, his angry eyes flashing like wildfire on them, " you hold no regard for your god", he muttered in a low scary voice.
Luther scuffed, casting him a mocking gaze. "Are you perhaps suggesting that you are Dust, the creator of the 3 realms?", he uttered and soon, the atmosphere was filled with mocking noises and laughter.
"I journeyed in haste to save my people but it seems that they are quite capable of doing that on their own. Bragging in emptiness. I gave you this power, I can take it from you", he uttered but instead, more laughter was heard.
" hey, young man! I probably hate the vamps just as much as you but on this, I take their side. You're dust? Must have had too much liquor for one night", Sage Burvis, one of the witches uttered from the left side, and Dust's frown deepened.
He knew his people but his people knew him not
"No one has ever seen him. He doesn't exist. He is furking fairy tale", Roman, the alpha of his pack uttered from the middle side and others nodded in agreement.
" Fine! I'll let you know what it's like to live without Dust", he muttered, anger eating into his bones
