-Jordan Parrish- Natalie hadn't said anything throughout the ride back home. I had asked Dennis to drive while I stayed in the back seat, carrying her. She was asleep by the time we arrived home. I thanked Dennis and dismissed him to take care of Surreal and his family. I carried Natalie inside the house, her frail body light in my arms. She stirred slightly, her head resting against my chest, but she didn’t wake up. Her short, uneven hair brushed my chin, a painful reminder of what she’d endured.
