I walked out of the closet and closed the door, taking a fresh breath outside.
I glanced at Isaac, and started walking, heading to the cafeteria.
“How did you know I was in the closet with him?” I asked
“I came looking for you and I saw you following him. I tried to call out to you but you couldn't hear me. I saw him lead you to the closet and I followed” he explained
I nodded and kept walking
He followed beside me. “Nat?”
“Isaac, if you heard everything, what more explanation do you want?” My voice came out harsher than intended, hoping I could convince him to back off.
I wasn't ready to tell him everything. Not yet.
“Oh, I know exactly what you're doing and it's not going to work because I'm not leaving your side till you tell me what's going on” he insisted
