“He came to help me first instead of Sophie. Can you imagine that?” I laughed over the phone, talking to Amelia
“What?!! No way” Amelia screamed
“Yess. Jude had to remind him that he was helping the wrong person and then it clicked and he bolted to help Sophie”
“How did Sophie react” Amelia giggled
“Oh, she was chill. I like Sophie. I was so happy to know that Isaac would still help me out even when he has a girlfriend although his girlfriend has to be top priority now”
“Oh Nat” Amelia called out in a sing song voice. “Naive, stupid Nat”
“Lia, what gives?” I smiled
“Can't you see that Issac clearly still has feelings for you?” Amelia screamed.
I tried to process what she was saying so I stayed silent for a while. “No he doesn't. He can't. We're just friends.”
