A Wolfish Guard

Chapter one

It has been 7 years since the day he’d been taken in by the Kobayashi family, since he became their loyal dog. His job was simple protect them, be a body guard too the children.

Waking to the early morning sounds of birds chirping he threw his sheets off and sat up rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He looked around his small room mentally preparing himself for the day

Satoru nods too himself and gets up quickly making his bed, the last thing he needed was Himiko lecturing him for not keeping his room clean.

Now first order of business he needs to get himself ready for the day, which meant he needed to shower… Great.

Grabbing his uniform Satoru makes his way to the bathroom he and the other wolves shared, he prayed Koshi had slept in or was at least already ready for the day, he really didn’t want to deal with that guys enthusiasm today.

He comes to a stop outside the bathroom and glares at the door, straining his wolf like ears…

‘Aaah yes the joys of the partial transformation.’

In simple terms werewolves technically had three forms, human, partial and full.

Human- as the word states they look human, down to their appearance at least. No wolf ears, no tail, no fangs or claws… Just human.

Partial- simple they’re human but with some qualities of a wolf, ears, tail, fangs and claws.

Full- You should be able to put it together from here they are full wolf, body full of fur, paws the whole lot.

Hearing nothing he opens the door and looks inside letting out a breath he didn’t know he was holding

“Whatcha doing Toru?

~?”

He jumps at the voice behind him and snaps around glaring at the owner of the voice

“Koshi… Don’t do that…” he mumbles shaking his head

“What? Cant greet my fellow pack mate?” Koshi chuckles

“… We’re not pack mates there’s no pack… we simply serve the same master.” He rolls his eyes stepping into the bathroom and closing the door

“Don’t ignore me Satoru!”

“Go be useful and wake up the young mistress!” Satoru grins

“But I swear she hates me~!”

“Not my problem!”

He chuckles at the whine from the other side of the door and waits till he hears him walk away.

Once he was sure the other wolf was gone he got the shower running taking advantage of the hot water and just standing there letting it rain down on him; making sure he didn’t get any water in his ears…

Grabbing the soap he washes himself off absentmindedly going about his usual routine. Once he was sure he was cleaned he shuts off the water and steps out of the shower grabbing his towel and walking over to the mirror.

He looks at his reflection watching as two eyes look right back at him, One gold the other red…Heterochromia… something that he honestly could have gone with out but he wasn’t so lucky.

He sighs and shakes his hair free of water drying himself off and quickly getting dressed, he still had much to do.

Wake the young master and make sure he got ready for school, double check with Himiko that breakfast was ready, help Koshi with the young misstress IF he needed it.

He ties off his tie and nods, time to get to work!

He leaves the bathroom and makes his way to Toshiro’s room; gently knocking on the door he waited for a response after not getting one he opens the door sligtly looking in he chuckled the teenager was still fast asleep… Well not for long

He walked into the room and over to the window, nodding to himself he pulled the curtains open instantly hearing the teenage boy groan

“Satoru what the hell!?” He screamed as he sat up glaring at the wolf

“Sorry Young master but you need to get up and get ready for school.” He grins making his way over to the boys closet and opening the door grabbing out his uniform

He groans once more and throws his blankets off and get out of bed. “Is Kuroko up yet?” He asked as he made his way to his bathroom

“That depends on whether Koshi went to wake her, and knowing him-“

“He’s either asked Himiko to do it or he’s just waiting for you.”

“Correct, so please get ready I’m sure breakfast will be done soon.” The wolf says watching the boy close the bathroom door.

Satoru leaves the room and goes down the hall, finding that Koshi was indeed standing outside if Kuroko’s bedroom door

“… Did you knock?” He askes

“Yes! And she ignored me…” the older male mutters glaring at the younger hearing his sigh

Satoru knocks on the door and waits, he could hear that she was up and shuffling around, but was she getting ready for school?

“Lady Kuroko?” He calls

“… Yes Satoru?” She calls back

“Are you getting ready for your school day?”

“… Unfortunately.” She replies opening the door, her long white hair clearly wet from as shower

“Good please get ready then meet Himiko down stairs for breakfast.” He says crossing his arms watching the teenage girl lean against the door frame

“Yeah got it, now off you’ll excuse me I have to keep getting ready.” Kuroko hisses slamming her door closed in the men’s face.

Koshi looks over at Satoru and groans. “Why is she so much more relaxed toward you?”

“Maybe because I don’t give her a chance to give me s**t for my job.” He rolls his eyes walking past the man. “Himiko is up right?”

“Hm? Yeah she’s up.”

“Good… that’s good.” Satoru replies.

And so their day had officially started. Now it was time for the dreaded morning rush.
