*Blaise* I hear Lillian's laughter as I prod my horse into the corral. Moving into our own place seems to have put Lillian more at ease with her new surroundings. I saunter to the house, round the corner, and lean against the beam supporting the eve. Contentment steals over me as my gaze falls on Lillian, sitting on the ground, her bare toes peeking out from beneath her skirt. Cooper is hunkered beside her while Two-bits yelps and wags his tail like there's no tomorrow. “Sit!” Cooper orders, deepening his voice. The dog gets his shaking butt halfway to the ground before he lifts it back up and begins wagging his tail again. “Sit!” Cooper repeats. I think he sounds a great deal like Chase.
