This place is as beautiful as I remembered. The tall trees and the old-style cottage gives me comfort and makes me feel at home.
“Here, let me get that Kaylee!” Alex exclaims as we get out of the truck, rushing to get her suitcase for her.
It makes me chuckle the way he acts around her. They’ve been friends since they were born, but since he started developing stronger feelings for her, he’s a little different. He was always attentive towards her, but it’s even more now.
He is gentler with her. He takes care of her like she’s royalty to him. One thing I’m grateful for though, is that Kaylee doesn’t take him for granted. She cares for him just as much as he does. And it warms my heart to see that Michael and I managed to raise our daughter the right way.
