How can I have let myself lose my cool like that?!
Sitting in that cold room, my elbows on the table, holding onto my head in shame, trying to figure out how in the hell can get myself out of this messy situation.
The door suddenly creaks open to let in the officer that brought me to the station.
“Miss LeBlanc, we’ve contacted the owner of the cottage property you were renting. We are legally obliged to inform her of this situation since she owns the place of the alleged assault that happened on that said property. Swill be here I half an hour at most. She said she might be able to provide us with video evidence of the alleged assault, if it occurred and how it occurred.” H
