Captive

Alexandra's POV 'BANG' I was jolted awake when the car door slammed shut, but all I could see was black. The people who took me had covered my eyes with some sort of bag so that if I woke up I wouldn't know where I was. I was carried for a good 5 minutes before one of the guys set me down on a cold, rough cement floor. The smell in the room was absolutely unbearable, like death and decay. Even though I was awake, my body felt numb and I couldn't move any part of my body. What ever the solution was that they gave me is still affecting me. "Wakey, wakey sunshine. Time for you to meet your King." one of the guys who kidn*pped me said as he yanked the bag off of my head, causing me to blink a few times in response to the severity of the light. "My king? As in the werewolf king?" I managed to ask in a very hoarse voice. "No! Not that weak ass imposter of a king. The true King who should rule over all creatures on this earth, King Drayce Vincent. The King of the Dragons." he said in a cocky tone as he walked over to the wall where a set of what looked like iron chains was hanging from a hook about midway up the wall. "And why would I be meeting the king of the dragons? I'm not a dragon, I'm a wolf." I asked, trying to keep my voice as calm as I could. By now I was starting to gain a little bit more feeling throughout my entire body, like a slow tingle on the surface of the skin. My only concern was that I couldn't feel Reika in the back of my mind like I normally could. It was like she was missing and that made me wonder just what it was that I was injected with. Was it possible to kill someone's wolf? "All new captives are brought before the King and he determines where they will serve best in his kingdom. Most of the lowly creatures brought there are turned into servants of slaves to do his Majesty's bidding. Whether that be inside the bedroom or outside of the bedroom, is entirely his choice." He explained. He then grabbed the chain off the wall and attached the open shackle to my left foot, locking the shackle once he was finished. I waited in my cell for what seemed like days before I heard someone walk close to the cell and tell me to stand. I obeyed and stood to my feet as best as I could, considering my legs were still fighting me to want to work. The guard entered the cell and unlocked my shackle. The exact moment it was off of me, I gathered all my strength and ran toward the cell door. I made it outside the cell and turned to close the door when the guard who unshackled me ran straight into me and shoved me into the wall behind us. He then pulled out a syringe filled with a purple liquid, and plunged the needle into my neck, causing me to scream out in pain before everything went black. ~~~~~~~~~~~ When I opened my eyes again, I found myself in a very unfamiliar room. As I looked around the room I was shocked to see a painting that happened to look a lot like myself, which I found to be very strange. Suddenly the large leather chair, which sat behind a large oak desk, spun revealing a middleaged man with a short gray beard. He seemed to be in distress about something but I was scared to try to talk to him fearing that he was the Dragon King I had heard so much about. Then he looked at the painting and started to speak. "My darling Andrea, Oh how I miss you! I hope that you are watching over our beautiful daughter and keeping her protected like she needs to be." I was stunned, here I was standing in this man's office and he was acting as if I wasn't even there. "Hello?" I said in a soft voice, trying to get his attention. Nothing! No movement or words were spoken in response to me. What is going on? As if I was swept up into a time warp, I was transported to a different room where I saw someone I was very familiar with. Liam Black stood in front of me in what looked like a meeting with very important men. "LIAM!" I heard an older gentleman at the head of the table yell. I watched the scene with confusion, since the whole room seemed to be very tense. "She was one of the lower classmen at the academy I attended. She had just finished her sophomore year when I came home. Why would he be calling you? Aren't they supposed to be back in Australia? Why would she be here?" I heard him say with so much sorrow in his voice that I started to feel saddened by what he was saying. "Son, do you have one of your yearbooks where we could possibly get a picture of her so all of our warriors would have a visual aide and not just a description?" the older man asked. Who I am now guessing to be Liam's father, since there also is a very big resemblance between the two of them. "You don't need her yearbook photo. I have many photos on my phone of her. She was the girl I was always telling you about dad. The one that I said was special." I heard him say as the scene of the meeting vanished and I was transported to a forest. "Hello, my daughter." Said a beautiful woman with long flowing blonde hair. She was wearing a white dress with lace sleeves and honestly she kind of reminded me of the woman I saw in the painting in the first man's office.
