I feel like my life is going in circles. From one bad thing to another.
The Elders were considered very important people among the wolves since they held so much knowledge and influence. But that didn’t necessarily mean any wolf would ever want to be in their presence for whatever reason. Much more twice in such a short time.
It was never a good sign. Calling the Elders was almost the same as giving them more power over a territory. That was one of the biggest reasons I didn’t want to request their presence in the first place when Liora first asked me to. And, of course, because I didn’t want to give in to her demands.
But here I was once again, inside the Ancient Caves, with the suffocating feeling of being surrounded by people who only know how to look down on you.
