CHAPTER 1 — THE FALL & REBIRTH
The world burned. A crimson sky tore apart, screaming with thunder and fire. Mountains cracked like dry clay beneath the weight of titanic blows. Rivers of molten rock ran through the battlefield, hissing as they consumed the flesh of the fallen. Above the devastation, four figures hovered, their eyes like molten coals fixed on the center of the inferno. At that center knelt a man whose very presence warped the world around him. His armor, black as midnight yet etched in glowing crimson runes, reflected the flames. Every movement exuded strength born from centuries of war. His black hair whipped violently in the storm, his eyes flashing like twin stars. Aiden Kael. Once the Crimson War God, the strongest warrior of the Nine Realms, conqueror of armies and gods alike. Now bleeding, cornered, betrayed. He smiled. A grim, bitter curve of his lips. "So… this is how it ends?" "You grew too strong," spat the Pale General, his voice like shattered stone. "The realms fear you. Even the gods fear you." Aiden’s smirk deepened. "So you stab your king in the back?" "No," The Iron Marshal said, stepping forward, weapons drawn. "We erase you." The four generals lunged, weapons crackling with divine energy. Blades cut through the air with the roar of collapsing mountains. Aiden barely had time to lift his gauntlets before the first strike carved a fiery scar across his chest. Lightning arced along his arms, cracking bones, burning flesh, and still he rose, mocking the gods themselves. "Fool…" he whispered. "Pathetic…" Blades struck again, faster than thought, a torrent of unstoppable force. The world shattered around him. Mountains crumbled. Rivers of flame swallowed all. Screams of the dying filled the chaos, but Aiden’s eyes never wavered. Then, a final strike—a spear forged of pure chaos—pierced his chest. Light exploded, splitting the sky. His knees hit the scorched earth. The roar of betrayal filled his ears. The last thing he saw was the heavens collapsing onto him before darkness swallowed everything. A single heartbeat later, he opened his eyes. Cold air ripped into his lungs. Bones ached in unfamiliar ways. Pain shot through his chest and spine—not from battle wounds, but from weakness. He was no longer the Crimson War God. Above him, a cracked ceiling stared down. Dust hung in the air. The smell of mold and rot filled his nose. Where… am I? His senses stretched. Power—his divine essence—was gone. Reduced to a flickering ember, barely conscious. His body was not his own; it felt frail, weak, human. A reflection in a broken mirror revealed a thin, pale teenager staring back, clothes torn and scuffed. Bruises, sunken eyes, and trembling hands betrayed someone who had lived a life of neglect and a***e. A cough wracked him. His head swam. The boy whose body he had taken was a frail 18-year-old student, bullied to the brink of despair. Aiden Kael had been reborn. Outside the room, a voice barked. "Aiden! Get out here! It’s entrance day at Titan Battle Academy! If you’re late, even the trash class won’t take you!" The boy—his new vessel—looked to the door. Aiden lifted his head slowly. Titan Battle Academy…? The academy. Legendary. Unmatched. The strongest mortals trained there, yet he had ignored it in his past life, considering it trivial. Now, in this body, it was his world. And the world was weak. A tall figure stormed in—fists wrapped, scarred knuckles showing past victories. Kade Vesper, bully, tormentor, the master of humiliation in this boy’s life. "There you are!" Kade sneered. "Missed morning drills again. You’re pathetic. The instructors say you’re the worst student in history!" Aiden’s gaze was calm. Cold. Calculating. "Recalibrating," he murmured under his breath, analyzing Kade’s posture, muscles, stance—all of it. Every detail of his opponent’s potential weak points burned into his memory instantly. Kade frowned. "Huh? What did you just say?" Aiden’s fist moved—fast, precise, flawless. One punch. No aura. Minimal strength. But perfect placement. WHAM! Kade flew back, smashing into the doorframe. Blood trickled down his chin. "You… you hit me?!" he screamed, staggering to his knees. Aiden shrugged. "Just a light tap." Kade roared in fury and charged again. Aiden sidestepped, twisted his wrist, and snapped Kade to the floor with a single move that would have taken years to master in his old life. "Next time," Aiden said calmly, "I won’t hold back." He walked out. The morning sun hit him, but he didn’t flinch. He didn’t fear the world. He analyzed it. Every sound, every whisper, every shadow: everything was data to him now. The streets to Titan Academy were alive. Students bustled, hover-trams whirred past, floating billboards gleamed with messages about academy rankings and tournaments. Elite students strutted with confidence, their aura visible even to mortals, announcing their power in waves. Whispers followed him. "That’s the bottom-rank kid…" "He can’t even summon aura…" "He’ll never pass the placement test…" Aiden ignored them. Their voices were insignificant. Weak. Like flies buzzing around the king of war. Titan Academy loomed ahead, colossal towers spiraling into the sky, shields glowing faintly with runes of protection. At the entrance, a massive statue of a war god—glowing crimson—watched over the academy grounds. Aiden paused. The statue reflected his former self. The academy revered him, not knowing he walked among them, disguised as a weakling. Irony. Sweet, bitter irony. The Placement Arena stretched like a coliseum. Thousands of students filled the stands. The Ranking Stone, a monolithic artifact, hovered at the center, capable of measuring combat potential and assigning class ranks. Groups stepped forward to touch the stone. A girl with silver hair whispered to her friend, “Who’s next?” “Some weakling. Aiden Kael,” her friend replied, rolling her eyes. Aiden stepped forward. Snickers erupted. Whispers cut like knives. “Lowest rank again. What a joke!” “Even the trash class won’t accept him.” He approached the stone, placing a trembling hand upon its cold surface. The stone glimmered faintly. Then… it cracked. Gasps spread like wildfire. The academy watched in disbelief. A symbol appeared—ancient, foreign, unmistakable. Aiden’s old war sigil. A divine signature, impossible for mortals. BOOM! A shockwave burst outward, toppling students, shaking stands, cracking the arena floor. Alarm bells screamed. The Dean, Arcturus, descended from above in a silver cloak, aura bending the air like fire. “You,” he growled. “Explain this anomaly.” Aiden lifted his head slowly. Calm, bored, deadly. “I didn’t do anything,” he said. The Dean’s eyes narrowed. "Impossible. That symbol… it shouldn’t exist here." Aiden smirked faintly. "Curious." Guards surrounded him. Aiden let them close, unafraid. He had faced gods, armies, and traitors. Mortals were insignificant. From the shadows, a cloaked figure watched, eyes glowing faintly. They whispered, voice low and cruel: "So… the Crimson War God lives." The once-great war god now hidden in a frail human body, surrounded by enemies and spies, steps into a world that will try to crush him. But he is no longer weak. And the first move has already been made.
