Several hours passed, Sarah and her party were all getting exhausted from trying to contact the outside world. They had tried everything but nothing seems to work. Satan was just right there in the corner giggling at them.
"Hey demon, are you messing with us!" Sarah shouted with a suspicious look on her face.
She is suspecting Satan is doing something to jam the signal right from the start.
"And what do you think I am doing?"
"I barely moved away from my seat. How could I jam the signal?" Satan said without knowing his tongue slipped.
"Aha! So, youre jamming the signal" Sarah reacted.
"Guys go check antennas maybe demons are messing with it"
"That's why we can't reach anyone" Sarah added.
Satan then stood up and walk towards the only exit.
"No one is going to leave this room alive" Satan threatened.
"So, we are doing it the hard way"
"Everyone cloth on" Sarah ordered.
Everyone then tied a piece of cloth in front of their faces covering their noses and mouths.
"Water Purification Magic: Purifying Mist" Sarah casted.
A huge blue magic circle then formed in the ground which a thick mist came out shrouding the entire room.
"Even if you try to hide this door behind me is the only way out" Satan said being cocky.
"Liquidate" Sarah casted another spell.
This spell transformed their party into droplets which fused with the mist. Using this two spells they manage to slide through the cracks of the door.
Several hours later the mist finally disappeared inside the room and Satan was the only left inside.
"Ah!" Satan shouted as he slams his hand on the door out of frustration.
He got fooled by the humans and they manage to flee. Satan didn't bother casing them because they have been long gone.

Cyrus search party haven't reached their destination yet but they had already collected a fair amount of loot.
Cyrus decided to cut the group so that all of the gathered loot are safely transported back to the safe zone. One fourth of his party were instructed to head back the zone bringing the items with them while the rest continue on their search.
While looting the building one of the students noticed opened drawers and shelves. Other students also noticed the same thing on other buildings. Loot are getting scares around this parts.
Cyrus immediately gathered his men then said.
"Someone had already looted this area"
"We don't know if this is done by a survivor or those humanoid demons"
"Better to group up and check the buildings together" Cyrus instructed.
"Marksmen take the high grounds but do not reveal your positions"
"Shoot when necessary" Cyrus added.
Three marksmen then head to the highest neaby building and establish a great scouting position from there. The rest of the group looted the buildings but they had no luck in great items like food or water.
This routine continued for several minutes until one of the marksmen noticed something. A man running fifty yards from them. The marksman immediately grabbed the attention of the other marksmen and focus on the man.
Several seconds later a hoard of demons chase after the man. The snipe was about to fire but he was immediately stopped.
They just shook their head at him then immediately stood up and report the scenario to Cyrus.
"I see"
"Our hunch was right this area had been already looted" Cyrus reacted.
"What should we do now? Are we going to rescue him?" a marksman asked.
"Of course we are going to rescue him he is essential in our mission"
"It's a total waste of time if we check building that had been looted so we will ask him" Cyrus said.
"Okay men let's move out" Cyrus said.
The party then went to the man's last seen location. They were in a hurry and their items were making clinging sounds which drawn nearby demons towards them.
"Mages take the demons down and make a defensive line. The rest of you, come with me" Cyrus instructed.
Barriers made of elemental magic rose from the ground covering several yards in radius. Cyrus and his party just continued running while the mages and marksmen provided them with cover.
"Men split up" Cyrus said as he takes the right side.
His group alternately distributed themselves and began their search from there. The area is a bit rundown compared to the other areas they had looted before. It looks totally abandoned and there is no sign of the man from earlier. The other group saw some movements and heard falling debris so they checked it out.
A student was about to enter a building but someone shouted at him to stop. It was the man hiding in the opposite building.
"Are you a fool?"
"No one in their right mind would go inside a collapsed building like that" the man shouted at him.
"Sorry" the student is being apologetic.
"Sorry won't return lives" the man said then he went on his way.
"Wait, we have several questions to ask of you" a student said.
"Please come with us, we have an anti demon barrier set up near here. Let us chat over there" another student said.
"Maybe some other time"
"I still have a community to feed" the man said as he turned his back at them.
"The buildings there had been looted. If you want we could share our loot with you"
"Just cooperate with us for a while" the student said.
"So where is this barrier of yours anyway" the man said as he starts walking.
One of the students dispatched from the group to inform Cyrus and the others.

At the barrier.
Everyone was all seated and all the attention was directly at the man. The students especially the other search group had these curious looks on their faces. It seems they are just waiting for an opportunity to ask the man questions.
"So how big is this community of yours?"
"How many people do you have?" Cyrus asked.
"Not much but we sum to thirty plus individuals and only a fraction of that are healthy men"
"We are just common day to day workers so no one knows how to treat wounds. We have several injured men and the rest of the men are out there searching for necessities" the man informed.
"Where is your base?"
"We have medical supplies here and special healing potions that could treat all injuries" Cyrus said.
The man immediately gets up and shows them the way. With no time to lose everyone headed to the secret base.

At the south gate. Tyrone and his party had gathered all necessary items at the old man's shop. Anything that is necessary to grow crops like the seedlings, fertilizers, seeds, and even some potted plants were all placed inside a huge wagon. Everything is going according to plan until one of the marksmen barged inside the shop shouting.
"Colored lights coming from the north" the marksman shouted in a distressed manner.
Tyrone and the rest of the group immediately packed everything and checked what was outside. The marksman was not joking about the different colored lights in the sky.
"Men we should split up here"
"Bring the items back to the zone while we go check the others. They might be in trouble" Tyrone said
Tyrone brought with him most of the healing potions and most of the skilled men.
With haste they ran towards the location of the barrier. On their way there they fought several stray demons and even met several survivors also out looking for anything useful.
By the time they got to the location no one was there so the group decided to join the survivors back to their base since they have injured men that need treatment.

At the center of the city there is this huge hotel which is completely barricaded. All potential entrances were all sealed off and only the back door at a tight alley was the way in and out of the building.
One by one the group entered only to see Cyrus and his men already treated the injured.
"Tay" Cyrus reacted upon seeing Tyrone and his party.
"What brings you to this side of the city?" Cyrus curiously asked.
"We saw elemental barriers put up so we checked it out" Tyrone said.
"Sorry but that was us"
"Don't get the wrong idea but we just made a defensive line just in case more demons arrived"
"No one was hurt in the process" Cyrus informed.
"What about you? How did your mission go?" Cyrus asked.
"It was a complete success"
"I instructed the others to head back and bring the looted items with them" Tyrone informed.
"Tay just to fill you up with the current situation"
"The leader of this community and I decided to join forces"
"They will be leaving with us from now on and they will also join the search. They have already mapped most of the buildings from the east" Cyrus informed.
"No objections here"
"But it would be risky to head out now since the sun is setting"
"We should camp here for the night and move at dawn
