Mislead: Episode 45

Back at the safe zone the students and the other civilians were all gathered together. Looks like they were discussing something.
"Food stocks are running low"
"Maybe three days max before it is all gone" the civilian in charge of food distribution said.
"Other necessities are also running low"
"Medicines and vaccines. Even toiletries" the civilian in charge of necessities said.
"We don't have to worry about the medicine and vaccine since we have healing water" a student said
"Is there anyone here by any chance to know a thing or two in gardening and or farming?"
"Also husbandry?" a student asked.
Several civilians spoke up while some raised their hands.
"Do you think that the ground here is suitable for any crop to grow?"
"Is it a good idea to raise life stocks here?"
"I'll be honest we don't know what is happening outside. It is best to remain here and continue with our lives" the same student said.
"If you are talking about the rock we are stepping on I am afraid to say no"
"But with the water quality we have and the fact that one of you uses earth magic I think we have a decent chance of cultivating the land"
"Maybe if we pulverize the rocks and add water we could create a muddy clay soil. With this we could plant cabbages and a few varieties of beans and sprouts" an elderly man said.
"Raising livestock would really take up space and resources"
"On top of that we are not even sure where to find chicken, swines, goat, and cows" a civilian said.
"Fair point"
"But raising livestocks would be beneficial in the long run"
"We will just form another search party to scout the area and look for potential items" Tyrone said.
"Mind suggesting a spot for your search"
"I own a vegetable garden shop. It it located a couple blocks away from the south gate"
"The shop has tons of different seeds, materials, and equipment. Also bring all of the unwilted saplings" the elderly man said.
"I don't think if this is necessary or not but I owned a construction company located at the center of the city near the mayor's office"
"I have several dozer, excavator, and roller that could help cultivate the land"
"Keys are all located in a compartment inside the office" a civilian said
"I own a s*******r house at the east gate. Maybe if we are lucky the swines there are still in breeding state"
"It's been several weeks surely some already starved to death" a man wearing an apron said.
"Also try searching the other buildings since there are more s*******r houses in that area" he added.
"Not sure if this counts but I do have roosters at my house. Those roosters that are used for c**k fighting"
"My address is at 123A Acacia Street. Chicken coops are at the back also I have tons of feeds and vitamins" a civilian said.
"What are we going to do with roosters?" a student asked.
"Does anyone of you know where we could get any hens? Preferably those who lay eggs" a student asked the crowd.
Everyone remained silent so that is a no.
The deliberation continued for a while until everyone managed to share their thoughts.

After the gathering everyone head back to their post and the civilians went on their way.
Dean, Tyrone, and Cyrus were left to formulate a plan to gather the said items while the others were instructed to prepare all necessary items.
"Tyrone and I know this place even if it put into ruins"
"Several groceries and shopping malls are scattered all over the place" Cyrus said as he maps the area using a rock.
He scribble the city of metro and placed pebbles as a mark of the high value targets.
"I think we should also go here" Tyrone said as he places a pebble on the map.
"The weather station?" Cyrus reacted.
"Yes, we will use their antenna and satellite to broadcast out situation and seek for outside help" Tyrone said.
"What if the invasion is not small scale?"
"Can't you see other cities were also attacked. What if all acrossed the globe demons are terrorizing mankind?"
"Aren't we just putting ourselves on danger?" Cyrus said.
"So what if it is the judgement day"
"If demons are everywhere there is no safe place for us to hide. If we manage to contact someone and they are willing to aid us, maybe we could drive off the demons away" Dean said.
"Dean is right. It is best if we increase managed to our forces"
"Most of the civilians we have are elderly, female, and children" Tyrone said.
"If that is the case, we should also prioritize weaponry"
"We should also armed the civilians so they could fight and defend for themselves"
"Like Dean said there is no safe place for us" Cyrus said.
"What do you have in mind?" Dean asked.
"We should grab ourselves a firetruck or two and fill it with the water spirit's water"
"We could use this to sprinkle on ourselves to heal us or sprinkle towards the demons to drive them away"
"Also we could give the other civilians water guns" Cyrus said.
"That could work, the problem is how are we going to loot everything and bring them here?"
"We really have a lot on our plate right now" Dean raised a question.
"We could do it in intervals"
"We should make a priority list first. Which item should be prioritized first" Tyrone said.
"We are running low on food so food should be up most priority" Dean said.
"I agree, food must be prioritized but if you saw something useful along the way do not hesitate to loot it"
"For example if you are looting at the mall there are dozen of playstores there" Cyrus said.
"So you are saying that we should split up?" Tyrone asked.
Cyrus haven't thought of that yet so he just shut his mouth and remained silent.
After a while the three of them finally finalized everything. Starting from the priority list down to the number of men going to be dispersed.

The following day, Tyrone and his party are heading to the old man's shop to gather the seeds, saplings, and other gardening necessities.
Cyrus and his party are heading towards the largest shopping mall but made several stops to check the nearby buildings. After looting the building they shower the entrance with colored pigments as a sign that they had already looted the area.
Other students, mages, and the rest of the civilians all checked the building near the zone. They also mark the places with colored pigments to avoid confusion.
Sarah together with a few civilians and her small party are heading towards the broadcasting center to ask for assistance.
Everything is going smoothly, the civilians managed to fix some appliances and even found several working generators. Everyone cheered the moment white light shined inside the zone.
"Finally less heat and no smoke" a lady said with a sigh of relieve.
The civilians continued fixing more appliances and attached more light posts.

Sarah's party finally arrived to their destination. The civilians they brought work here so they took a lead inside. The building is in great shape but it is completely abandoned. They can clearly hear their footsteps echoing everytime they took a step.
They tried using the elevator but the power is out so they all took the staircase. The broadcasting room is on the thirtieth floor so they were all exhausted by the time they had arrived.
Sweat dripping from their foreheads non-stop and all were catching their breathes.
"Water Purification Magic: Soothing Mist" Sarah casted.
Cool mist then came out of her clothing shrouding everyone. The water she used to form the mist is healing water in order to replenish her party's loss strength.
Once everyone was rejuvenated one of the civilians opened the door of a dark room.
The civilian tried reaching out for something but he can't find it. A mage then used fire magic to give light.

Then a sound of several gears rotating. Lights flicked on revealing a whole radio recording studio.
"Greetings" said a man sitting on a chair in the middle of the room.
The mages were all shocked seeing Satan's human face once again.
Everyone immediately raised there guard up because they are now on hostile territory.
"Who are you and what brings you here?" Sarah said with a slight raise of voice.
She may act tough but everyone clearly see her shaking in fear.
"Shouldn't I be asking you people?"
"You were the ones that tresspassed in our domain" Satan said.
"Why? Want to contact another nation to drive us away?"
"Sure, help yourself out. I'll just sit here and watch you waste your time"
"I would still be killing you all thou" Satan said as he pushes the chair he is sitting. He just rolled off to the corner with a grin on his face.
"Feel free to use any method but I won't put my hopes up since demons now control the world" Satan boastfully informed
