“Why not remove those masks so I can see your faces.”
“I already know most of you, so what’s the point in hiding your faces?” I said.
“You’re the knight I faced in Riverade if my senses are correct” I said as I unmasked Satan and I was correct.
“How dare you forget my name!” Satan ranted.
“Shs! Satan someone’s coming” Lucifer said.
Lightning magic cleared a path for Kirin and Draxx
“Zadkiel” Satan said
I teleported in front of Kirin with open arms then said.
“Head back, now is not the time for you to come here” I said.
Demons then started coming after us.
“Wall of Typhoon” I casted then swirling winds trapped us.
“But you’re outnumbered,” Draxx said.
“It’s fine Draxx, I can handle then.”
“Your performance is not yet scheduled and I won’t give you my spotlight.”
“This is my time to shine and mine alone” I said.
“Hop in Chris. We can outrun them” Draxx said as he pats Kirin back.
“Sorry Draxx but this is not your call, sorry” I said as I dispelled the wind spell I casted.
“Kirin,” I said, then Kirin headed back.
“Kirin stop,” Draxx ordered but he did not listen.
“Kirin release” Draxx tried unsummoning him but failed.
“What happened to you. Why aren’t you listening to me” Draxx ranted
“Coz Master Father instructed me” Kirin said
“But I am your master!” Draxx ranted.
Kirin did not reply.
Draxx jumped off and started to plummet fast. Several demons started to chase him.
“Want a piece of me” Draxx said then he casts lightning spells to strike down the chasing demons, but they were too many.
Kirin catches Draxx then fires concentrated magic using his horns.
“Why are you too stubborn.”
“Father just wants to help humanity. You would just be a nuisance for him if you stay.”
“Don’t you know that he is only buying you all time to prepare. So please just follow what you were instructed” Kirin said.
“But we can’t leave him alone,” Draxx said as he looked back.
“There is nothing we can do there. Not at this rate”
“With your current affinity and skills, you can’t even last an hour battling those ferocious demons. What more if you dealt with a demon lord” Kirin said
“But” Draxx reacted
“Draxx now isn’t the time for your performance.”
“Remember that great things happen to people who wait patiently,” Kirin said.
“That is, it, demons! Come at me” I excitedly said as I evaded their every attack, only Belphegor and Lucifer managed to keep up.
“Who should I unmask next?” I said as I thought who my target could be.
My eyes were set on that dark element user.
“You really are a skilled sniper” I whispered in her ear then unmasked her.
“Hi Jane” I greeted
She tried hitting me with her gun, but I dodged it, but I got too cocky. Lucifer manages to land a hit on me that sends me crashing to the ground. I immediately stand up then pat the dust off my clothes.
“Oh, dear looks like they are already serious.”
“How about,” I said then vanished.
“A taste of your own medicine” I said as I popped out in front of Lucifer and struck her in the head.
Lucifer slammed on the ground hard
“Sorry Clarissa see you in the afterlife.”
“Don’t worry, my men will look after the kids. They are in good hands” I shouted.
The other demons’ lords are all frozen stiff.
“What?” I cluelessly asked
The demon lords are all frozen stiff as they saw me strike down their comrades.
“What?” I said in a teasing manner.
Satan started to fire up.
“Enough!” he shouted as he summoned his sword on his other hand.
“Nice sword you got there” I said as I teleported beside him.
“Too bad you won’t be able to use it” I seriously said as I chop his arm off
Then Belphegor tried reaching for my next, but I dodge it then I saw a huge chunk of rock heading towards me.
“f**k!” I reacted.
I spread my arms wide and embraced it. I brace myself and enhance my body with earth and ice magic.
“Deep Freeze” I casted then the rock slowly turned into ice, but it did not lose momentum.
Demons are closing in behind me so does Belphegor above me and the rest of the remaining demon lords are heading towards me.
“Radiant Javelins” I casted then javelins made of light fall from the heavens.
But strong fire magic just wiped off most of it. Belphegor then attacked me using a katana. I blocked it with earth magic. She keeps on attacking so I sustain it and fortify it.
The demons finally reached me, some even managed to scratch my back. I was completely outnumbered, and my divine beasts are way too busy with the other demons.
I casted wind magic to blow away the demons to give me space to run away. As soon as I left the gigantic rock a dark elemental beam was fired at me. It managed to tilt a bit, so my chest will not get hit. It pierced through my shoulder, but I didn't even feel any pain. I then noticed the demons stopped chasing me even though Belphegor was just sitting on the huge rock.
I then saw blood pouring out my stomach and several scratches all over me.
“Solar Flare” I casted then a huge explosion happened but my sight did not change at all. I still see the same old stuff.
“Looks like a deceiving spell” a thought inside my head.
I casted purifying magic onto myself to remove the debuff but another one struck me.
“Seriously!” I shouted in a pissed manner.
I enhanced my sensory magic to track down her location. With lightning-fast speed I teleported behind her and tried finishing her off, but I could not feel anything. I do not know if I hit her or not, but I can feel something dripping down all over my body.
I casted a healing spell then a purification spell. I surround myself with a light barrier that manages to block the attack. As soon as the purification magic took effect, I felt excruciating pain, my limbs are severed, I already feel dizzy suddenly.
“Trinity Barrier” I casted then I saw several shadows immediately scram before the barrier was sealed shut.
I harness all the elemental magic until the last drop. Even the divine beasts were affected by the decision I just made. I concentrated all the magic into a gigantic sphere. The demon lords and the demons all look at it with hopeless expression. With all their might they tried attacking me, but they cannot even penetrate my divine barrier.
“Try harder!”
“I saw mortals do better than that!”
“If I were you, I’d start praying if you know how to pray HAHAHAHAHA” I shouted at them.
They gave everything they got, and they punctured my barrier until they destroyed it.
“Too late” I said with a cocky look in my face then I stuck my tongue out.
“Elemental destruction magic: Gamma Ray Burst” I said before they could even reach me.
The sphere emitted a strong light that shot to the sky. The demon lords started bracing themselves for whatever happens. The light gets brighter and brighter, and the demons and my divine beasts start to vanish. Mammon, Belphegor, and Satan tried covering themselves, but their magic could not withstand its power.
“Just who the hell are you” Satan shouted.
I cannot open my mouth, so I tried to smile.
“This is certainly amusing” a thought inside my head. I wanted to yawn but I cannot, so my eyes just swell up making them teary.
“Time for me to rest” I said as I closed my eyes then I heard a strong explosion.
Draxx, Samantha, Dean, Sarah, Maximus, Mariposa, and Tyrone felt this strange feeling in their chest. Their hearts started to race.
“What is this strange feeling” They all reacted.
Draxx and Kirin finally made it back to the academy.
“You can take a rest now Kirin.”
“I’ll just sleep for a bit then we will continue our training” Draxx said.
Then Kirin made this sound he seems distressed
“What is it? Is something bothering you?” Draxx asked as he pets Kirin’s head.
“I can sense demonic presence close by.
“The same presence I sensed when we got close to those demon lords that Chris were facing” Kirin said as he stared at the ladies’ building.
Draxx went to the building.
“Master in there,” Kirin said as he pointed to Sora’s room using his horn.
Draxx summoned his sacred gear then slowly approached Sora’s bedroom. The blinds were closed. Draxx places his ear near the door but he could not hear anything, it was total silence. Draxx counts one to three using his fingers then he breaches in
He saw the kids fast asleep, and he felt embarrassed about what he did but when he looked at the corner Sora was there all moping.
