“Looks like Gabriel finally reawakens” the lady wearing a cloak said.
“Alright I’m off.”
“I want to burn up mana as well and maybe roast some mortals while I am at it” a male demonic voice said as he stood up and picked up his sword.
“Where are you going Satan?” the lady wearing a cloak asked.
“To the battlefield of course”
“Coz my heart and soul belong to the battlefield” Satan said as he mimicked Dean.
“But Lucifer instructed us to restrain ourselves,” the lady wearing a cloak said.
“Don’t tell me you’re afraid of that bodiless moron.”
“Asmodeus, if I were you, I’d be joining in the fan coz by the looks of it your battle beast can keep up with that mortal.”
“Sucks to be you” Satan said.
“What about you Belphegor? Aren’t you going to join the fight as well?” Asmodeus asked.
“Do whatever you want just don’t drag me to it” Belphegor said as if she was uninterested.
“Okay”
“If Lucifer asked what we did just say we didn’t do anything okay” Asmodeus said.
“Yeah, yeah, sure. Just stop bothering me” Belphegor said
“I’m counting on it,” Asmodeus said as she flew down the battlefield.
“Hailstorm” Asmodeus casted as she plummets to the ground.
Dean casted a barrier of divine light to protect himself. He then notices that the repair of his barrier is delayed every time the hail struck.
“What kind of spell is this?” Dean reacted.
“Radiant Rampage” Dean cast a ball of light and was summoned from the staff.
“Thank you for summoning me master.”
“It’s been a while since the last time I manifested in this form” the ball of light spoke.
Dean has this clueless expression on his face.
“You can talk?” Dean reacted.
“I hope we can chat later cuz right now we have a bit of a situation going on” Dean said as he looked at the ice demons.
The ball of light levitates and starts firing rays of light towards the three demons.
“Looks like Gabriel’s divine beast finally awakens as well” Asmodeus said to Illiden.
“It’s not a big of a deal.”
“Besides, I have stored so much mana that I don’t know where to use it”?
“I was planning to cast an ice age, but this mortal didn’t quiver in fear and run to its allies.”
“Hope we could end this sooner” Illiden said in a bored manner.
“Why do you have to come here?”
“I didn’t ask for your help,” Illiden said.
“I know and I am not here to join the fight.”
“I am here to check what that incarnate is capable of,” Asmodeus said.
“Want to figure it out?” Illiden asked.
“How?” Asmodeus asked back with an eager look in her face.
The long-ranged ice demon walks to the edge of the glacier then puts its hands together forming numerous icicles.
“This is all the power I harness earlier.”
“I concentrated it into one attack. Let us see how he will survive this all-out attack” Illiden said then he stands up.
“Icicle Spear Barrage” Illiden casted
Then the icicle spears are heading his way
“Light creation magic” Dean was about to cast a spell, but the ball of light interrupted him.
“All take care of this master” It said.
It emitted a strong burst of light that incinerated the icicles.
The light continued to scorch everything in its path including the three ice demons. Asmodeus and Illiden were saved because Asmodeus anticipated what was about to happen so she created a barrier.
“I knew it.”
“That ice looks familiar” the ball of light said.
“We’ll be taking our leave.”
“It’s nice seeing you Sol” Asmodeus said then she took off.
Dean was about to chase her, but Sol stopped him
Samantha and the rest of the frontline are pushing forwards then something falls from the sky. It struck the earth creating a devastating explosion.
No one was hurt because Samantha manages to cast a defensive skill on time.
“Is everyone alright?” Samantha asked.
The mages all answered.
“Regroup now and retreat” Samantha ordered.
With no time to waste the mages all head back
Then a huge ball of fire came out of the thick black smoke. Samantha blocked it with ice magic, but it was too powerful. She was thrown out of balance luckily Solomon was there to catch her.
“Looks like an interesting opponent” Solomon said then as she helps Samantha get back on her feet.
The mages all stopped and made a defensive line. They all look at the thick smoke as someone or something is heading their way. When it was about to pop out another huge fireball is heading straight at them
The ice golem blocked it causing its life.
Then a strong gust of wind clears off the smoke revealing Satan and Calderas and behind them is scorched crater
“Wow” Solomon reacted
Calderas fires another fireball. The mages immediately acted because behind them is the city.
“Looks like my time has come,” Samantha said.
She then walks towards Satan.
“What the f**k are you doing!” Solomon shouted.
With lightning-fast speed Solomon takes over. He spread his arms then said.
“Don’t be too reckless, you've seen how powerful their magic is,” he seems worried.
“Don’t worry as long as Papa is beside me nothing can stop me” Samantha said then she continued to walk.
“Open your eyes Sam! The Duke isn’t with us anymore because he is dead” Solomon said.
“I know” Samantha said with a smile on her face.
“Now if you excuse me, I have a war to finish” Samantha said as she held Solomon on the shoulder then shove him aside.
“Arise, the uncrowned king.”
“Cryo” Samantha said
“I can’t be!” Solomon was shocked to see an ice sculpture of Aaron rising from the ground.
Samantha then pulls out a sword from the back of the statue.
“What’s your name, demon?” Samantha asked as she walked straight towards him.
Calderas descends as Satan walks forwards.
“I am Satan the demon lord of wrath.”
“Be grateful that I’ve told you my name.”
“But sad to say that would be the last of it,” Satan said.
He spreads his wing then charges straight to Samantha.
“Ice creation magic: Ice Spikes” Samantha casted the ice spike rose one by one.
Satan soars high to avoid being caught but the mages fire elemental beams at him. With a swing of Satan sword every spell was negated
Satan smiled then said.
“That’s it! Amuse me”
Satan swings his sword that created a horizontal wave of fire. He repeated it several times. The fire attack covered a wide area. The mages tried blasting it with elemental magic, but it was all negated.
Then the ice sculptured moved and split every one of Satan’s attack
“What kind of sorcery is that?”
“I haven’t seen magic like that,” Satan said as he took a good long look at the statue.
“Well meet my divine beast. The uncrowned king: Cryo” Samantha said
“Cryo you saw.”
“Let’s see if it can withstand Calderas’ flames” Satan said, then Calderas took off then breathed fire.
Cryo wields a sword then splits the flame in half.
“Aaron Leonheart IV we meet again” Calderas said in a pleased manner.
“Everyone heads back to the city and refortifies the walls and finds the others.”
“Solomon you’re in charge.”
“Go!” Samantha ordered.
“No!” Solomon shouted.
“Huh?” Samantha reacted.
“I won’t leave you. Not at this rate”
“You are facing a demon lord. Don’t expect that you can take him down all by yourself”.
“You can’t afford to lose you. Not right now. So, I am staying!” Solomon stubbornly said.
“Hey kid!”
“Get a move on! Can’t you say that she doesn’t need you and your allies’ assistance"?
“To her you are all a nuisance that could get in her way.”
“You dead weight!” Satan mocked.
“Why you!” Solomon shouted then he burst straight in
With a raise of a sword Samantha froze Solomon
“Just wait a sec Satan.”
“Let me just pick him up,” Samantha said as she lifted Solomon's frozen body.
“Damn you’re heavy.”
“Cryo a little help here please” Samantha said.
Cryo and Samantha lift him up but Satan unleashes a wave of fire directly at Samantha. She draws her sword then slices the attack in half then says.
“Chill we will get there.”
“Let me finish first.”
“I was just testing your reflexes” Satan said then he unsummons his sword then crosses his arms.
“Okay, I want all of you to gather all men and head back to the city.”“Let the healing mages treat you all and if you find Dean tell him that I need his support.”
“Now go” Samantha ordered.
