“Okay kids listen up” Maximus shouted to get everyone’s attention
“Here’s the plan. I want you to bring all the necessities you have here like food and water. Some tough strings and all the curtains inside this establishment.”
“Let’s move!” Maximus ordered
“And what are you planning to do with those things mister?” A kid weirdly ask
“Well the food and water are needed but you of course while the curtains and string will be use just in case the demons shows up” Maximus said then winks
“You heard him guys lets go” the acting leader instructed
The kids immediately dispersed some went downstairs, some went and search the room, and the rest went outside and check the neighboring establishments for necessities
Draxx and Kirin have been looking all over the place and can’t find anyone. Looks like everybody has already evacuated. With lightning fast speed he burst towards the evacuation center but the entrance is sealed with fire elemental magic and the ground is scorched
“Looks like the students made all the necessary precautions” Draxx seems impressed
Draxx steps down from Kirin and carries Sora on her back.
“Hey bud do you think you can get close and ask someone for help?”
“I think Sora can’t handle this much longer” Draxx calmly said
Kirin burst straight in then guns were fired at him. With lightning fast speed he quickly evades it all then someone shouted “Stop firing!”. The scorched earth starts to cool down and the fire surrounding the gate fades. Several students came out and made a quick search. Draxx shouts and wave his hand to grab the students’ attentions
Water then began to rise out of nowhere which made Draxx uncomfortable but he saw the students all acting calm so he just disregards it. The water then drifted Sora towards the route and Draxx follows her
“Sir glad to see you’re safe” Tyrone greeted
Students started barricading the entrance once again and as soon as it’s all finish it burns once again
“So that’s your doing”
“Nice” Draxx said with two thumbs up
Tyrone smiles then show the way towards the safe zone
While walking Draxx notices the entire place wet even though the path is filled with water enough to cover his toes.
“What’s the matter bud? You look excitedly happy” Draxx ask as he watches Kirin enjoys the water
"Why Master don't you enjoy such replenishing power"
"Only the greatest water spirit can do such thing" Kirin excitedly said
Draxx and the others finally entered the safe haven and he was astonished to see this huge water spirit standing on the center
"Greetings travelers"
"Welcome to Eden" the water spirit spoke
"Well look who finally decided to show up"
"Golpo" Kirin said
"Lightning Beast!" Golpo cheerfully said
"Let me guess another ancient battle beast" Draxx reacted
“Yes Master, the greatest water spirit Golpo” Kirin said
“Oh dear what happened to that lady you’re carrying”
“I can sense demonic energy coursing within her”
“ Don’t tell me you’ve brought a demon inside this holy realm” Golpo seems pissed of the newly arrived individuals
“Golpo calm down”
“That lady you are referring to is our instructor and she isn’t a demon”
“She’s soft and kind far from the vile beast you are accusing her” Sarah said as she and the other healers approach them
“But Sarah I am telling the truth the demonic energy she has is far from the possessed one and it is far way greater than a regular demon” Golpo tried redeeming itself
“Golpo how could you address your master so casually” Kirin seems pissed
“Because she gave me permission to call her by her name duh?”
“Go on Kirin I know you can sense demonic presence. What vibe is this lady giving you?”
“A greater demon right, if I am not mistaking she might be a demon lord” Golpo said with a menacing glare at Sora’s unconscious body
“I do sense demonic presence but believe me when I am beside her I didn’t feel any demonic presence before”
“If your suspicion is correct. The demon lord inside her has not yet fully awakened” Kirin said
“Which gives us a chance to kill her” Golpo said then stream of water gush towards Sora
With a draw of his daggers Draxx manages to vaporized it
“Those daggers, it can’t be”
“The Archangel Zadkiel has risen” Golpo reacted with a dazzling look on its face
“I don’t know what you are speaking of Water Spirit”
“But I am not the one you refer to as Zadkiel”
“I am Draxx the assassin instructor at Biblia Academy” Draxx informed
“Sir Draxx put Ms. Sora down. The water that Golpo secretes can heal all forms of injury and replenishes the muscles” Sarah said
Draxx gently lower Sora down but the water moved away from where Sora is about to lay down
“What are you doing Golpo?”
“Heal our instructor!” Sarah pissedly ordered
“Sorry Sarah but I won’t” Gopo stubbornly said
“Why? Is there something that matters?”
“Look, what you are thinking is wrong”
“She is not a demon! So please heal her” Sarah begged
“Sorry Sarah but I can’t heal her”
“You place her in the ground and dip your finger in the water” Golpo instructing Draxx
Draxx quickly places Sora and dips his pointing finger in the water
“Now touch her anywhere where you like” Golpo instructed
Draxx slowly touches Sora’s shoulder and upon contract a scent of burning flesh scattered all over the place
“You see master now Sarah”
“I hope you understand now why I won’t heal her”
“Holy water is an acid for demons”
“If I heal her instead of saving her life I’ll will end it” Golpo said with a sorry look on its face
“So there’s nothing we could do to help her?” Sarah seems unmotivated
“If you won’t mind please dispose of her now”
“It would be devastating if that demon awakens here”
“We don’t know which demon lord inhabits your instructor’s body but if you keep her here countless lives will be in danger”
“I am not telling you this because I hold a grudge against demons but think about the innocent civilians residing here”
“For me she’s a treat for Eden”
“If you don’t dispose of her now I’ll s*******r her” Golpo threatened
“No need to be hasty water spirit we’ll leave right this instance”
“Men stay here. I can handle everything from now on” Draxx said
He picks up Sora’s unconscious body then head on there way
“Assassin wait” Golpo said which stopped Draxx on his tracks
“Sarah go fetch him a jug of my water” Golpo instructed
Sarah quickly grabs the closes jug she can grab and scope water
“Here you go Sir” she said with a worried look on her face
Draxx pats her head and told her everything is going to be fine so she better no worry
“That water restore you to full health so better not waste it”
“It’s a warzone outside if you find a decent place to leave her grab the opportunity then head straight here”
“Together let’s save the mortals from extinction” Golpo said
“Sorry water spirit but I won’t ditch her”
“No, not in this condition. She can’t even defend her own life and you want me to leave her at that state”
“Demon or not she is still important to me” Draxx pissedly said
“Kirin let’s go” Draxx said as he turns his back at them
“Hey Golpo, aren't you being too rough on him?”
“I know you have a gruesome past but now is not the time to make an enemy out of them”
“Like you said he is an Archangel and I am pretty sure that we need his strength to win this war” Tyrone said
“You too possess the same power”
“I sense the Archangel Jophiel in your presence” Golpo said
“Looks like the name of the angel I once saw in my dreams but what about the giant firebird?”
“Do you know something about that?” Tyrone ask
“That firebird you saw is one of us ancient battle beast”
“He is known as the Eternal Flame: Garuda”
“The one you saw earlier is the Lightning Beast: Kirin”
“And I am the Water Spirit: Golpo” It said
“What about the rest of the rest of the elements?”
“And what are these titles you’re saying? How about you start with the Archangels, who are they really?” Tyrone ask
“Before I start telling a jeez of what’s happening I want you to call everyone that is going to partake in this war” Golpo requested
After several minutes of rounding off the students they are all ready to listen
“How about you start with the other remaining ancient battle beast” Tyrone said
“Sure”
“Wind Elemental. The Wind Walker: Amihan”
“Ice Elemental. The Frozen King: Cryo”
“Light Elemental. The Rising Sun: Sol”
“And the Earth Elemental. The Guardian of Land: Terran” Golpo informed
“But you should know its counterparts”
“I have a suspicion if the Archangels and their battle beasts were reawaken so does the demon lords and their dreadful beast” Golpo said which caught everyone’s attention
