“Finally, the Archangel of Purity has revealed himself” the lady wearing a cloak said in a demonic voice. “Illiden why not have some fun” the lady said then black wings came out of her cloak then she took off. Illiden stepped backward as it stretched its wings. With a flap of his wings, it burst straight to the city. “Radiant Javelins” Dean casted then spears of light was heading straight to the demon. While in mid-air it used its wings as a shield as it passed through Dean’s spell. It manages to pass thru unscathed. With a single scratch the barrier was nullified “Impossible” Dean reacted as the demons finally infiltrated the city. “Blinding Light” Dean casted then he retreats. The defensive mages all panicked as they felt their barriers have been breached. “What’s happening?” the in-charged mage asked. “Demons manage to breach our barrier” a defense mage informed me. “Split up.” “Respond to Dean. He needs back up” the in-charge mage said. Then a bright light shined coming from the location where Dean is battling “Hurry!” the mage shouted. The attack mages panicked as they ran towards where the light came from “Oh God please be merciful to us sinners” the mage said as he looked up at the sky. He tried calming the remaining mages and they started over again. The defensive mages recast their creation spells while the attack mages remain on standby. “These demons really know how to piss me off,” Dean said in a furious manner. “Light creation magic: Barrier of Light” Dean casted then light shroud him “This should keep them busy” Dean confidently said but with one scratch of Illiden the barrier shatters. “No!” Dean said with a distress look in his face He thought he was a goner but his back up arrived just in time. The mages started attacking the demons to divert their attention away from Dean. “Radiant Javelins” Dean casted to Illiden when it was not looking. The spell hit, sending Illiden flying. “Take that mother fucker!” Dean said with a satisfied look on his face. A wind mage assisted Dean on his landing. “We should lure them to the main battlefield so Sam and the others can assist us.” “Here they come run!” Dean said then he ran towards the attack mages. They mages split up as they lure the demons to the standby attack mages. “Somethings coming.” “Behind us!” a sensory mage shouted. The attack mages immediately harnessed mana. Then one by one their allies keep popping out. “Demons are coming!” They shouted. The attack mages immediately harness mana as they wait for the demons. They saw Dean flying backwards as the demons chased him down. “Now!” Dean shouted. The mages immediately opened fire. The wind mage maneuvers Dean in mid-air to dodge the spells their allies casted. Most of the spells landed a direct hit but it was not powerful enough to finish off the demons. Illiden and the long-ranged demon remain intact, the assassin and knight were seriously damaged, and the tank was completely immobilized because of a shattered leg. “Looks like the mortals give you a run for your money” a male demonic voice said to the lady wearing a cloak earlier. “Nah!” “Watch” the lady said with a smile on her face. The mages fired another wave of attacks to finish the demons off but Illiden flew right straight to their spells. Last second it created a shield made of ice to protect its allies. The mages continue to cast spells to keep the demons in check. The mages continue to cast their skills to keep the demons in check what they do not know that Illiden is harnessing their powers and using it to heal its comrades. The mages did not notice it because of the vibrant light that their spells created. The last thing they know they are running out of mana. “Cease Fire!” the in-charge mage commanded. Everyone immediately stopped casting. The vibrant light then soon fades after revealing a block of ice which is about to shatter. “After all of that we still didn’t breach its defenses!” a mage ranted. Then the block of ice shattered as something pierced through it. Then the mage who spoke earlier suddenly fall backwards with an icicle stuck in his forehead “Die,” Illiden said, then he manipulates the shattered ice and sends it directly to the mages. “Light destruction magic: Spectrum Swirl” Dean casted then swirling light acted as a shield that protected everyone. “Run to the main battlefield.” “Regroup with the others.” “I’ll slow them down. Go!” Dean shouted out of frustration. The spell he casted slowly deteriorates as the ice shards struck. “Spectrum Swirl” Dean casted another one but this time it is much wider than the first. “Concentrated Light Beam!” Dean casted then a thin ray of light struck the swirling light which boosted the spell's powers then it struck the second swirling light that boosted it again. Concentrated rays of divine light cover a wider area and it is heading towards the Illiden and the other ice demons. “Pathetic!” Illiden mock “Ice creation magic: Dark Ice Shard” Illiden casted then a huge black colored ice rose from the ground refracting the light. After the light faded Illiden and the ice demons were sitting on top of the glacier. They are wearing sunglasses made from dark ice and posing like the ones you see in a magazine cover. “Is that the best spell you have?” Illiden said as he lowered his glasses. Dean did not react because he was too worn out from that last attack he did. “I’ll give you three whole minutes to run and regroup with your buddies.” “Once the timer reaches its limit, we will hunt you down light livestock.” “I won’t even move in my place for the whole duration sound good?” “Don’t you fear us” Illiden bargained. “Fear?” “Father died because he faced everything and rose. Just like him I will do the same because my heart and soul belongs to the battlefield.” “I will never show my back to my opponent. I won’t just forget everything and run” Dean said. “If that’s your choice then I won’t stop you but still I won’t move an inch from my position for three minutes” Illiden said then he gives the go signal. Three ice demons jumped down and started stretching. “Father please lend me your power” Dean prayed. Then an immense light shined from his fragment that transported him to a different location “Long have I awaited to meet you?” an angelic voice said. “Who are you and where am I?” Dean asked as he looked around, but he couldn't pinpoint where the person he was talking to was located. “I’m Gabriel” the angelic voice said. “Gabriel, Gabriel?” Dean said as he taps his head as if he remembers something. “Ah ha!” Dean shouted as he remembers where he had heard that name before “I used Gabriel’s power and never came back,” Dean murmured. “Tell me are you the same Gabriel that father borrowed his powers from?” “The one he used to protect everyone back at Metro” Dean asked “No” “He didn’t borrow any of its coz all the mana he has, and the elemental power is his, but he didn’t expect that he would use it too early” Gabriel said. “Now Dean” Gabriel said then he was interrupted. “Yes!” Dean alertly said. “You are now the successor of the light fragment.” “Remember that light casts no shadow so one's thoughts should be.” “Have a pure intention and give everything you got” Gabriel said as he descended but he was not alone. Dean started crying as soon as he saw his father’s face. Aaron lifted his chin up and looked him in the eye and spoke. “Whatever happens, always remember that I am proud of you.” “Now get back out there and show them who’s boss” Aaron said then he fades away. “Until the path intertwines,” Gabriel said, then he glows so bright. Dean then started hearing a twenty seconds countdown. He opened his eyes and he felt overflowing mana coursing through his entire body. “So, this is what Gabriel’s power feels like” Dean said then he heard a voice saying “Ah! It’s all yours.” the countdown reaches the last ten seconds. “Showtime” Dean said then he unleashes an overwhelming amount of power. “Divine Aura Materialize” Dean said as he raises his hand then light particles form a different staff compared to the one he used earlier. “Wow! My gear just got an upgrade.” “Cool,” Dean said as he swung the staff around. The countdown was over, and the demons spread their wings them burst straight in Dean used his light magic to divert the attention of the two other demons. Making it easy for him to land a hit. “Light creation magic: Holy Beacon” Dean casted then two towers rose from the ground. The towers fire concentrated light magic beams. “That should keep the two busy.” “Now to finish this one” Dean said then he charges in An angelic wind popped out of his back. “Looks like Gabriel finally reawakens” the lady wearing a cloak said.
