"Really? I'm right here, can't this wait?" Matt grumbled, his gaze darting between us.
A giggle escaped Rose, and Klive merely rolled his eyes. He planted a swift kiss on each of her cheeks, shot a final scathing look at his brother, and then took his leave.
"Come with me, I have something to show you," Matt beckoned to Rose as Klive's form retreated from view.
She regarded him with a quizzical expression, but he offered no further explanation, simply taking her by the elbow and guiding her towards a room adjacent to Klive's.
He gestured towards the door, and knowing that he would likely not respond to her queries, she sighed and complied with his request.
