Do not get me wrong: I was not embarrassed by him. He had a good reason for turning rogue and attacking my cousin's pack. I simply did not want anyone to know I would met my mate. That is all there is to it.
"He is recovering from surgery," the doctor said with a genuine smile. "His healing abilities are amazing. He should be able to get out of bed tomorrow. You can see him right now. He is in the lower floor room. "No. 667."
"Thank you very much, doctor!" Isabella hugged her and smiled. I was not a sentimental person, so I mumbled my thanks and walked away.
I needed to see him right away to make sure he was okay. Arlette finally arrived after five hours and was expecting me to rush to his room. I could sense her trepidation.
