Alora’s POV
We stayed at the hotel for another day to give Roman time to heal a little before starting to move forward again. My own wounds had healed already. Calum and Reid were in amazement that I could heal so fast and Roman called me a show off.
We weren’t far from home at all anymore, so I knew this was about to get harder. The enemy didn’t want me back home with the others but I was going to get back. I was going to fight to get us there.
We stocked up on supplies with that extra day so we could leave bright and early. We even found a pharmacy to help Reid restock his medical kit again. We kind of enjoyed having the small town all to ourselves. Calum pulled me away for a moment alone that got interrupted again by the kids.
We left the hotel early the next mornin
