Into the Woods ( Our Time Ends Here)

The palace of Arvendon was in chaos, a lot of its people were missing and none of them had returned home. The King is very problematic as the people keep on asking him to find out what happened to their missing loved ones. He cannot answer them as he also doesn’t know what happened to them and the reason behind their disappearance. One peaceful night, the king was on the balcony thinking about how to solve this crisis when he saw a beautiful lady dressed in white walking across the palace. She was heading into the backyard of the palace. The woman keep her face straight, she never did any other gestures and just keep on walking. The King wondered how strange the woman’s action was, so he decided to follow the woman as she walked into the backyard of the palace. “Miss, where are you going at this hour? “ The king asked the woman. She stopped walking and slowly turned her head towards the King. The King was shocked upon seeing the woman’s face and shockingly uttered “Maeva”. “Maeva, Maeva, Maeva, where are you going? Come back! “ The King desperately called Maeva as she walked into the woods. The King followed her into the woods and the next morning he was reported missing and never returned home since then. The palace knights were scattered around the city of Vremmery looking for their honorable king but to no avail, with no news of him being seen. Day and night they have been looking for him. Months turned into years but the king hasn’t returned yet and nobody could tell where he went to. “It has been 2 years since the King's disappearance and the throne has been empty. The nearby palaces were also looking forward to announcing who will be the new King. The King disappeared together with the others who were reported missing and no none of them has returned home yet. Some of the knights were also missing upon finding the lost king and sadly, none returned. We were left by the king with the same dilemma and until now it was not yet resolved as no one knew what happened to them. It had been 2 years since the palace was left without a king and a leader. The King was supposed to pass down the throne to his eldest son, the crowned prince Laurent Gervais De Pierre, and now, it’s the perfect time to pass down the throne to its rightful successor. If you have any objection to the decision we’ve made, you may speak up now.” First elder Thaddeus spoke. The crowd was silent, nobody objected to the decision made by the elders. “Since nobody raises their objection and I hereby announce that crowned prince of Arvendon Palace to be our new King. Your majesty the throne has been given to you. “The second elder announces. The new king sat on the throne and everyone cheered. “Long live king Laurent, long live Arvendon of Vremmery.” Everyone shouted with joy and bowed their heads to their new king.
