THE RECLAIMED THRONE(Book 2 of the "Rejected by the Pack" Saga)The Crown is heavy. The Bond is lethal. The War has just begun.Gaia Solano is no longer a rejected hybrid hiding in the shadows. She is the Queen of the First Blood, crowned in the ancient ruins of a temple the world has forgotten. But a crown made of roots and magic is a beacon for enemies, and Gaia’s victory has signaled a power far more dangerous than the pack she left behind. The Lycan High Council is crossing the Atlantic. They aren't coming to negotiate; they are coming to "purify" the bloodline by executing the hybrid who dared to claim their Prince and the billionaire who dared to walk the Void.As the first ships emerge from the mist, Gaia must lead her "Pack of Rejects" into a battle that will determine the fate of every supernatural "misfit" in existence. To survive, she must do the unthinkable: fully anchor her mates. The triad bond is strong, but to reach its true potential, Gaia, Alaric, and Kenjiro must surrender every secret and every inch of their souls to one another. From the steamy depths of their private sanctuary to the blood-soaked docks of the university, the Triad will have to prove that love isn't a weakness—it's the ultimate weapon. They rejected her. They replaced her. Now, they will bow to her.

The weight of the Crown
Chapter 1: The Weight of the Crown The coronation had been a blur of white light and ancient echoes, but the silence that followed in the master suite was heavy—thick with the scent of pine, ozone, and the metallic tang of dried blood. Gaia stood before the floor-to-ceiling mirror, her bronze-toned skin glowing in the moonlight filtering through the curtains. She traced the white ringlet curls that framed her face, her amber-flecked eyes reflecting a woman she barely recognized. The Seal of the First Temple on her forearm pulsed with a low, rhythmic thrum, keeping time with her heartbeat. Behind her, the shadows stirred. Kenjiro stepped out of a void-rift, his designer coat discarded. His electric amber eyes were dark, his Japanese and Black heritage etched in the sharp, predatory lines of his face. He didn't speak; he just rested his forehead against the back of her neck, his hot breath ghosting over her skin. “The Council’s ships are halfway across the Atlantic,” he murmured, his voice a dark, velvet vibration. “They’re coming for the 'Abomination' and her 'Traitor' kings.” Alaric was by the window, a statue of silver and ice. His whirlpool eyes were fixed on the horizon, his fingers gripping the stone ledge until it powdered under his Lycan strength. “Let them come,” he hissed, the temperature in the room dropping. “I will freeze the ocean before I let them touch my Queen.” Gaia turned in Kenji’s arms, her hand finding the Mark of the Triad she had seared into his shoulder. “We aren't ready,” she whispered, her voice husky. “The bond... it’s strong, but it’s not complete. I can feel the gaps in our magic. I can feel you both slipping when the darkness gets too loud.” She looked at Alaric, then back to Kenji. The "Steamy" tension that had been simmering since the coronation finally boiled over. “If we’re going to survive a war with the High Council, we have to finish what we started. No more half-measures. No more clothes. No more secrets.”
