Joel turned to look at Damian with a disappointed expression on his face.
"So you are my father's informant?" Joel frowned. "What in the world is going on? Who are you working for, exactly? My father or me?"
Damien's gaze drifted, and he moved his eyeballs up as if thinking of what Joel just said.
"Your father hired me to work for you... So technically, if we are to say it, I work for your father."
"Damien!"
"Alright," Damien sighed. "I am sorry. I did a background check on Zara on your father's request, but did you ever wonder why he never talked about her working in the hotel?"
Joel narrowed his eyes. "Why?"
"Why else... because I gave him the wrong information about where she works?" Damien sounded proud of himself. "I was kind enough to manipulate that information."
