Lindsay cornered Zara in the hotel's employee locker room, a sly grin spreading across her face. "Well, well, well. Look what I just found out," she said, her voice dripping with malice.
Zara's eyes narrowed, her grip on her locker door tightening. "What are you talking about, Lindsay?"
"You and Joel's little engagement," Lindsay said, her eyes glinting with amusement. "I had no idea you two were taking your fake relationship to the next level. A fake marriage, how quaint."
Zara's expression remained neutral, but her heart sank. How did Lindsay find out?
"You're not even a good actress, Zara," Lindsay sneered. "I knew you two were faking it from the start. But a fake marriage? That's a new low."
Zara shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant. "What's it to you, Lindsay?"
