As they returned to the hotel, Zara resumed her duties as a hotel attendant, while Joel settled into his role as the upcoming CEO. They both made a conscious effort to avoid raising any suspicion, keeping up the charade of their fake engagement.
As Zara was busy with her work, Lindsay approached her, curiosity etched on her face. "Hey, Zara, how's everything going with Joel? I mean, with the engagement and all?"
Zara hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. "It's...going," she said finally, trying to sound nonchalant.
Lindsay leaned in, her voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "I mean, I know it's all fake, but I have to admit, you two make a pretty convincing couple."
