As Alex pulled up to Zara's cozy little house, she felt a sense of gratitude towards him. "Thanks for the ride, Alex. I really appreciate it."
Alex smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "No problem, Zara. I'm just glad I could help."
As they stepped out of the car, a little girl with curly jet-black hair and bright green eyes came running out of the house. "Mommy! Mommy!"
Zara's face lit up with a warm smile. "Hey, sweetie! Come meet Alex."
The little girl skidded to a stop, her eyes fixed on Alex. "Who's he?" she asked, her voice full of curiosity.
Zara knelt down, hugging her daughter tightly. "This is Alex, Joel's brother."
The little girl's eyes widened, and she looked up at Alex with a beaming smile. "Uncle Alex!"
