Disappointment

Felis came running towards me with Saber following him up & he looked really excited after watching the fight

"Brother Leo you are sooo cool, I wanna be as strong as you, can you teach me too !?" 

Oh this little cute guy, I couldn't help but pick him up in my arms.

"Ofcourse I will teach you, but you will have to wait 3 more years for it, ok ?"

"Ehh !! but I wanna learn now, teach me now Brother Leo, please! please!" 

*gasps* 

" Oh don't you look at me with those eyes... you... !! ughh !! ...how about I give you a ride on Saber instead !? "

Saber had gotten much bigger by now, as per Uncle Blaze he was just about a year old when I brought him home & he said that they reach there full size in around 10 years.

Right now he is around 4 years old & already more than five times my size.

" Yayyy !! Ride on Saber !! Let's ride together big brother !! "

*gasp* stop being so cute Felis !! Your big brother won't be able to handle this much cuteness !! 

After that I along with Felis got on top Saber & took a nice long ride till lunch.

{ Same day, after lunch, at home } 

"Thank you for the food"

"Hey Leo, since you are able to imbue your weapons with mana it means that you are able to bring mana outside your body now right ?"

"Oh really ? Is that true Leo ?"

"Uhh, yea it's true Mom..."

"So son what's your elemental type ? Have you checked it yet ? I am sure you know how to right ?"

"Umm yea Dad I know how to & I have already checked it..."

"Oh really !? Well then what are you waiting for, show us what your elemental type is" 

"I am sure my Leo has water or earth type just like me"

"Oh no, looking at how fierce he is while fighting I am sure he has fire type like me" 

This is the conversation which I wasn't ready for, I had not told my parents that I had already checked it a long time ago.

"Mom.. Dad... I am sorry to disappoint you... but I am unable to use any elemental type, I checked all of them & I checked a lot of times but I am unable to use any type, I am really sorry"

My parents looked quite surprised & sad to hear it. Then they came near me & wrapped me in their arms. 

"You i***t, why would we ever be disappointed in you !?"

"Yes Leo, it's not your fault or anything, it's just a natural thing & even if you can't use any elemental arts you are already strong enough."

"Infact you are much stronger than other kids your age, actually even stronger than many adults, Leo"

"Don't you ever feel sad cause of it ! Never ! you hear me !?"

I couldn't hold back my tears, it was a mixture of sadness & relief.

"Yes Mom got it"

Looking at us snuggling Felis joined in & soo did Saber.
