I was trying so hard not to crumble in front of Ronald. I had to be strong, but his words cut deep through me. Was this really how he felt? I thought to myself.
Just then I realized what a big mistake I had made.
I was so hurt by what he had said. I had hoped that somehow he wouldn't have had any regrets sleeping together that night. But clearly I was wrong.
